My Sunday Photo: Meeting Lisa Faulkner

My Sunday Photo: Meeting Lisa Faulkner. Happy Sunday, so how has the school holidays been for you?

Busy here, have you also been busy too?

It has been a great week with the children off school.

Out and about all week, no time at all for stopping in and doing boring housework.

We have had some fun days around where we live and also out and about on the train too.

My Sunday Photo: Meeting Lisa Faulkner:

So on Wednesday my Daughter and I had a lovely day out in London baking with Belvoir Fruit Farms and Lisa Faulkner whilst my husband and youngest son went Pokemon hunting around London.

Wednesday we were also invited down to Central Street Cookery School by Belvoir Fruit Farms to bake with them.

They kindly invited us to a cooking demonstration by Celebrity MasterChef, author and actress, Lisa Faulkner. How cool!!

Lisa has collaborated with Belvoir to develop a range of cake recipes featuring Belvoir Cordials to help celebrate the small and big things in life.

We also got to learn about the elderflower harvest as their Cordial is a key ingredient in the cake we made.

Lisa’s demonstration was also being filmed for a video for Belvoir to put on their website and I thought this picture said it all.

The cakes we got to make on the day were these sweet Madeleine Hot Air Balloons.

I will post more about the day and the cakes we made next week because it was such a fun day. I bet you can’t wait to see how our cakes turned out!?

It was such a fun day and we really enjoyed meeting Lisa and the Belvoir team, and the bloggers who took part. Everyone was so lovely.

When we got home we saw this live video on Facebook. How cool, see anyone you know in the background? You can see what I wore here: What I Wore: Day Out In London: Meeting Lisa Faulkner.

Linking up our fun day with My Sunday Photo:

Now we are off to make some more fun before back to school and normal routine tomorrow.
