It’s a miserable day here today so I’m looking at old photos of sunshine, days out and lots of laughter. I think when it’s cold outside it makes lockdown all the more boring.
Wayback Wednesday To September 2019. Today I’m sharing some wayback Wednesday photo’s which I forgot to post last Summer. Wait!! was I out enjoying myself travelling back then ;).
These were taken in September. I had just treated myself to this dress in the Summer sales.
New Dress For Spring 2020 Then; Well Only Worn Once. I found this beautiful dress out a few days ago what I brought last summer in the sale. As it was the end of summer I only got to wear it once on a day out in Nottingham.
I love it when you find something you had forgotten about. I should hide my clothes more often!! The good news about not wearing it much is like having a brand new dress to wear without shopping 😁😁 .

That’s right, getting the boat in the background so it looks like it’s mine, ha!! See how busy the Canal House pub is in the background too!!
Water, boats and beer what a fun combination. When you’re not driving the boat of course!

I agree, weather plays a huge role in my mood these days. At least if the sun is out, I can step outside or enjoy a walk in the warmth of the sunshine.
I enjoyed seeing “life”happening in your photos. Hope to get back to that freedom someday soon.

I love finding pieces that I forgot about in my closet! That is such a cute dress.
I love the embroidery detail on that dress. I think the weather really affects us when we are limited to where we can go. Hope the sunshine comes back for you!

I totally get what you mean about looking back at sunny photos when it’s miserable outside. I’ve been looking at our Florida photos because of the horrid weather! Looks like you had a good day – oh, and I love the Canal House! They’ve got an awesome steak sandwich there (when we’re not in lockdown of course).
The dress was a great end of season buy. You will get lots of use out of it–hopefully, soon! I know, we are all going nutty being stuck in the house!
