Last Saturday my Daughter and I went to Skegness for the day. You can see some more pictures here {Fish Chips And Donkey Ridez A Stick Of Rock With My Name Inside}.

Also, it was a lot of travelling for one day. [Around six hours travelling] for around 6 hours of fun at Skegness so it did even things out a little.

A Day Out In Skegness:

We did get to the train station a little late and everyone had got their seats by the time we arrived.

One dog gave it’s seat up for my Daughter but another dog would not give it seat up for me! Yep, I really do mean dogs!! When did this become a thing?

So I had to stand up an hour before someone left the train. Not a good start to the day but it did get better from then on.

It was funny when the ticket man managed to get round to check tickets, he told the woman to move her dog as she was being really rude as a few people still needed seats.

The woman with the dog was so mad and even ignored him the first time but he did get her to move the dog. I was secretly laughing inside.

I wore my lace dress, kimono and because you can never be sure how hot it is going to be on the coasts.

Whoops, I did slip up a little as it was red hot.

What are the chances of going to surprise my Mum and Dad at their holiday caravan and bumping into my Mum just after we left the train!

All the people in all of Skegness and we bumped into my Mum!

It was such fun, surprising her though.

One thing for sure after all the travelling, I did sleep well when I got home!

I was worn out.

How fun to run into your mom on the way to surprise her! I do agree that people are getting a bit crazy about treating their pets like humans; I can see letting them sit on a seat if the train was empty but really?? not moving them for people?! That’s nuts.

what a beautiful pot, it almost makes up for the rudeness of people. Why ever would a person think its OK for a person to stand. Bloody hell our society has become a mess hasn’t it.

Claire, I love your dress and kimono! So pretty! And I also get over the fact that the lady wouldnโ€™t move her dog for a person to have a seat! Wowsers! But it did make for a good story! And how funny that you bumped into your mum trying to surprise her!
