Parkrun Parkfun…

My youngest son has been loving his running lately. At Christmas he set himself a goal to see how many days he could run in a row. Starting from  New Years Day.

So far this year he has ran every day! Even through a cold, snow, nothing has stopped him. Knocking time off his best everytime he does a race..

Yesterday he got another PB in a 5km  Parkrun. 21 minutes 20 seconds for just over 3 miles. How amazing is that!?!

From the look on this picture his dad had taken, he looks like he is just jogging around laughing too. He should train me up as it was my worst time ever yesterday!! Oh well I am still recovering from my fall. One day..“zzzzzzz”

    Running is such a good sport for kids. My dd just did a 10K – blew me away because I couldn't run 1K – quite the inspiration.

    your son is adorable…and it is great that he has taken to running. Today childern don't spend as much time outdoors as they used to, so it is always nice to see exceptions. Being outdoors, walking or running is really beneficial for our health…wonderful photo!
