Peacocks are so interesting! I remember visiting my aunt when she lived in Southern California and going to a park nearby (which was also the set for the TV show "Fantasy Island") that was just swarming with peacocks!

We have peacocks in Australia but also Lyre Birds which are native to Australia and have a similar tail but not as brilliantly coloured. Both are gorgeous birds, but the peacock is quite regal looking.

Peacocks have such amazing long tails. It's incredible that they don't get caught in plants. Good to see these peacocks enjoying the freedom of the park.
