Polka Dot Lady. An Over 50 Fashion Blog.
Hello, lovelies, and thank you for visiting Polka Dot Lady blog theme, my personal style blog. I’m Claire, a blog-loving mother of four from Nottinghamshire in the UK.
Welcome to my corner of the digital world!
I’m thrilled to have you here as we embark on a journey through the fascinating realm of fashion, style, and self-expression.
I am Claire Justine, your guide on this adventure, and I am delighted to share my passion for fashion, beauty, and a polka-dot life with you.
I’ve been writing blogs on Claire Justine Oxox for more than 11 years.
I’ve realised that I’ve loved polka dots for the past 15 years and that I won’t be losing that affection anytime soon. Even now in my 50s.
So I decided to start a brand-new blog theme, especially for them.
I don’t wear them every day, but when I do I will try to remember to take photos and share them here.
Polka Dot Lady:
“With just one polka dot, nothing can be achieved.”
-Yayoi Kusama
My daughter dubbed me the “polka dot lady” since that’s all I ever wore, and my son, who was trying to encourage me to concentrate on one subject, instead of a bit of everything both helped me come up with the name.
Life is a tapestry made of experiences, and over time, just like a great piece of fabric, it only becomes more complex and rich.
Age, in my opinion, is more than just a number; it’s a beautiful indicator of the chapters we’ve lived and the stories we still have to tell. I’m a proud member of the wonderful over-50 fashion bloggers.

Love this pink top with the polka dot skirt look. This is my all-time favourite polka dot skirt, too. I brought it a size bigger so it hung more on my hips so it was a little longer and more material in it.
