What I’ve Been Up Doing:
Gardening:
I have been pottering around the garden over the last few days trying to cut the grass and dig up the weeds. It is amazing how long it has grown over the last few weeks with all the sunshine and rain. Feels like only a few days ago I last did it.
Gym:
I want to start getting fitter and yesterday I made effort to go to the gym on a Monday morning. I blew the cobwebs off my bike and rode to the gym to do a spinning class! Back after back bike session wore me out. Not doing much today as I have a box fit class booked later.
What I’ve Been Wearing Lately:
Polka dots make me pop!
I love polka dots so much. They are so classic and timeless. I have been wearing them for years and years. They are my favourite pattern.
I often wonder if my Husband gets fed up of me wearing polka dots!?
I do not ask him though.
Just in case he said he does get fed up with them!
Then maybe I would have to move onto another pattern to get obsessed with.
This is one of my favourite dresses. My go-to dress. When I am in a hurry. One I wear when I need something nice to wear quickly. I just reach out and grab this one.
One I wear when I want to look nice for a shopping trip or days out. It is the perfect length, not too long and not too short. Perfect size.
Not too big or too small so ideal if we might be eating out.
Polka Dots: Classic And Timeless:
My Husband bought me this polka dot dress last year for my Birthday. It is still for sale, so it must be a popular style. I wore it on my birthday this year, a few weeks ago.
We went to Nottingham for my Birthday lunch.
I styled it with my off-white cardigan and my comfy white Converse.
Me, my husband, youngest Son and my Daughter were meeting my eldest Son in Nottingham to all go out for a meal.
My 2nd eldest Son could not make it as he lives about 140 miles away.
Off we went for a nice walk around the shops then I picked where I wanted to have my birthday lunch.
Cosmo it was then. For an all, you can eat buffet. With extra cakes for my birthday.
Before we went to lunch my eldest Son had to nip into the train station to pick up a train ticket, or at least that is what I thought.
I didn’t want to go to the train station so me and my Daughter had a look at a quicky vintage shop we like to visit.
When we came out, I could see my Husband and boys laughing but it too me a few seconds to register.
My 2nd eldest Son had come on a 300 round trip to see me and have lunch with us all together.
It was such a lovely surprise having all my family together ♥♥♥♥

It was such a lovely day with them all and then we all caught our trains home in different directions.
