Packed with essential nutrients, it combines protein powder with a blend of fresh fruits, such as bananas, to provide a rich source of vitamins and antioxidants.

This protein-packed creamy smoothie is great for refuelling your body post workout.

The addition of spinach boosts the nutritional profile with iron and fiber, while almond milk enhances the creamy texture and adds healthy fats.

This smoothie not only helps in muscle repair and growth but also replenishes glycogen stores, rehydrates the body, and supports overall recovery, making it a delicious and convenient option for post-exercise nourishment.

Serves: 1

Prep time – 1 minute | Blending time – 2 minutes

How To Make A Post-Workout Protein Smoothie:

What You Need:

  • 2 Medjool dates
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1 tsp of raw honey
  • 2 tbsp Sevenhills Wholefoods Organic Raw Hemp Protein Powder
  • 1/2 tsp of vanilla
  • 350ml almond milk
  • Big handful of spinach

What You Do:

  1. Firstly, pit the dates then blend all ingredients together in a high-speed blender until smooth and creamy.

    I have work-outs 3-4 times a week and always have a smoothie after but they are all simple smoothies so I am looking forwarding to trying this.

      Spinach is great in smoothies Keely, plus you don't really notice the taste so you get lots of good vitamins in.
