Happy New Year And All The Best For the New Year ahead. Pinch punch, it is the first of the month and a brand new year. Hello friends, happy Saturday.
It is Saturday, right!?
As I am all mixed up with the days at the minute. Are you too?
So how are you today? I am a little hungover from last night.
Drinks and snacks at home with my husband. Curled up in front of the tv was just perfect, for me.
How about you? Did you do anything exciting?

In other news, Happy New Year And All The Best. Have you had a nice Christmas? I have had a lovely quiet Christmas. Spending it with family and taking time away from my blog and Instagram has been nice. Did you get some nice presents? I did and can not wait to style them here soon.
Such a sad month for me as my first Christmas without my dad. (If you missed this you can read here: Rest In Peace Dad, We Love You So Much…). Sometimes songs, made me cry, sometimes memories made me upset, and knowing my dad just wasn’t going to be around, made me sad.
He loved Christmas so much and we have so many fun memories of Christmas past.
Like when I was a child and the room would be full of presents, like the time we all went home for Boxing day food, drinks, and games and he would always start the party with fun and laughter.
Like the time he would recall old stories of Christmas and remind us of old stories that happened when my husband and I were dating.
I have also been missing Mollie so much, lately too. I think when you are sad, it makes you miss everything you loved and lost. Losing them both in one year has been so tough on me.
Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right- Oprah Winfrey. One of my favourite outfits of the moment, I just adore this knitted dress. So warm and cosy, too.
What I Wore And Where I Wore It:

What I Wore: Jumper Dress: Primark || Boots: Tu Clothing || Umbrella: Old!
Where I Wore It: London.
When the sun shines, we’ll shine together
Told you I’ll be here forever
Said I’ll always be your friend
Took an oath, I’ma stick it out ’til the end
Now that it’s raining more than ever- Rihanna
Love this quote; If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude- Maya Angelou. A lot of things I want to change this year! Especially my none existent exercise routine!!
Now what to do today to start creating a better 2022 for me!? Dry January, drinking more water, start running again, taking vitamins, and eating healthier all spring to mind. How about you?

Pour out the wine, let’s toast and pray for December snow

Such a beautiful song but makes me cry every time. (I know there’s been pain this year, but it’s time to let it go). I lost my dad and my dog and this year and Christmas is a time my dad loved so much.
Last year we were only allowed to see him once because of lock-down and we never knew it was going to be our last one. Going to be so hard this year not having him around.
On Monday we went to London and met my son and his girlfriend in Winter Wonderland. Here are a few photos and videos my Cloud storage made me. Look at me and my son, matching coloured coats. Christmas In London.

Thirdly, One Christmas Tree Up.
Had a nightmare with Christmas lights in the week as 4 sets were broken. So chuck all the old ones away and recycled my favourite into Christmas baubles for the other tree. Did you wake up to snow today? We did but not too much. One Christmas Tree Up.
Fourthly, Sparkly Tartan Skirt And Beautiful Butterfly Boots.
This is the outfit I wore on Boxing Day. A beautiful sparkly tartan skirt I picked up in the sales before Christmas from Tu Clothing sale at Sainsbury’s.
A plain black polo neck lightweight jumper and these beautiful sparkly butterfly boots that I picked up from Primark years and years ago for around £3.00 but have never worn.
I am not sure why I have never worn them either, as they are so comfy. Then again, there are only so many hours you can walk around the house and garden in them, isn’t there!! Sparkly Tartan Skirt And Beautiful Butterfly Boots.
Nottingham Christmas Market Over The Years:
Fifth, Nottingham Christmas Market Over The Years.
This year has been strange for everyone. Although I have not missed shopping, I have missed travelling.
Each year my daughter and I love to visit Nottingham quite a lot and our favourite time to visit is Christmas. We used to love looking around the Christmas market.
This year we have not been to Nottingham shopping, once. Hopefully, thing’s will start to get back to normal once the vaccines start rolling out and we will be able to visit next year.
Nottingham Christmas Market Over The Years. Love visiting Nottingham at Christmas.
