Rare Roast Beef, Wasabi, and Watercress Bagels. To prepare, lightly toast fresh bagels until golden on the edges while still soft in the center. Spread a generous layer of wasabi mayonnaise over both halves, adjusting the amount depending on your preferred spice level. Layer thin slices of rare roast beef over the bottom half, folding them slightly for texture and height. Add a handful of crisp watercress, then you could also finish with thinly sliced cucumber or red onion for extra freshness if desired.
You can easily customise the recipe with sesame, poppy seed, or wholegrain bagels to complement the filling For extra richness, add a slice of Swiss cheese or a few avocado slices. Serve immediately while the bagels are still warm to enjoy the contrast between creamy sauce, cool vegetables, and perfectly seasoned beef.
These sound simply delicious! Thanks for sharing at the What’s for Dinner party – have a wonderful weekend.
