Raspberry, Honey & California Walnut Baked Oats:
With their heart-healthy seal of approval from heart health charity Heart UK. Walnuts are also the only tree nut to contain significant amounts of the plant-based essential omega-3 alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) (2.7g/30g).
As well as 4.4g of protein and 1.4g of fibre per 30g handful. And it doesn’t stop there…
Walnuts are a good source of (antioxidants) copper and vitamin E and micronutrients magnesium, vitamin B6, folate and thiamine (vitamin B1).

Healthy Raspberry Baked Oats With California Walnuts.
Prep: 10 minutes
Cook: 20-30 minutes
Serves: 5
You Will Need:
- 200g porridge oats
- 2 tsp honey
- 5 medium eggs, beaten
- 500g natural yogurt
- 100g California Walnuts, chopped
- 500g raspberries
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 200oC gas mark 6.
- Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl until combined, reserving ¼ of the walnuts. Spoon into 5 x 150ml dishes. Sprinkle with reserved walnuts, place on a baking tray and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Cooks tip: Great to batch freeze, simply defrost and microwave to reheat.
