Runstreak: Week One, Day Seven: Keep On Running

Runstreak: Week One, Day Seven. Hello friends, so how are you today? I am back on the run and I thought I would update you all on how it is going!

Yeah, week one completed!

Runstreak Week One Day Seven

Runstreak: Week One, Day Seven: Keep On Running:

Runstreak: Week One, Day Seven:

It has been a funny old week and now I have made my mind up to start running again. Maybe a year or even a year and half since I properly ran a few miles. Trouble is I just want to get back to running again without the strart up pain as it is easy just to walk away and give it up again.

Runstreak Week One:

Firstly, I am trying to run everyday for two weeks to get me back into running again. I set my goal at two miles a day and here is how it is going:

Day One And Two:

Day one and two it was exciting to start up running again. I ran around and really enjoyed it.

Day There And Four:

So day three and four was, “why did I start running again”

Day Five:

Also, day five was: Wow, this really hurts.

Every muscle in my legs is aching.

So much so I shuffle now when I run! ( Nothing new their then my family would say as I was always a shuffler!)

A plodder and a shuffler!!

Day Six:

I can not believe I have run two Marathons before. I can only just make it to two miles now! The pain is really, the legs are slow but I keep going.

Six days into my runstreak and I am feeling tired. Tired out!

Day Seven:

I enjoyed this mornings run!! It still felt hard to run but I got up, got dress and went for a run before I had time to think about it. It felt a lot easier just getting out first thing and running before I had chance to think about it, I can tell you!

The Reality:

2 stone heavier than this photo and my marathon days.

The Goal:

To fit into this beautiful red dress again without looking like a sack of potatoes all squashed together.

Believe me, you do not want to see a photo of me trying to squeeze into this dress at the minute and all out of breath and stressed when I’m in it!! Ha, ha!

Week one, seven days of running and 14 miles run! Result. Next week I want to work more on my water intake and diet!

So what are your fitness goals for this year.

Mine is to run comfortable again and maybe find that runners high, I hear them talk about 😉

Now I have to do it all again tomorrow. Wish me luck.

So far my goal is just to get some form of exercise for at least 30 minutes 5 times a week. I have made it a full week so far and have been exercising more like an hour each day so I am thrilled with that but know I am not so great at making and keeping it routine.
