Shadow Shot Sunday: How Cool Is This Bench!?

Shadow Shot Sunday: How Cool Is This Bench!? Hello friends. Happy Sunday. How cool is this bench in Sherwood Forest? I adore this photo that I took deep in the woods.

Something sets my mind off into a fairy tale of stories when I see this picture.

It was so peaceful around here. Underneath the trees and sitting amongst the shadows and the fallen Autumn leaves.

Deep in the middle of the forest. Fancy a sit-down here? Shadow Shot Sunday: How Cool Is This Bench!?

Did Robin Hood ever sit here and plan his day? Ha, have I set you off making up your own stories too?

I hope so! Lots of twisty and turn-y paths to choose from but which one to take?  Which way would you go?

So what do you think of this week’s photo? Love it as much as I?

Firstly, Fun In The Forest.

Whenever we have gone out as a family over the last few days to the park or anywhere outdoors,  I have always forgotten my phone.

With two children and a dog, I don’t have any spare hands to hold my phone. Also, every time we’ve gone out, it’s either been dull and cold, or it’s been raining!

As a result, I was unable to photograph any of our outdoor activities!! But don’t worry, I just discovered some fantastic pictures from Sherwood Forest on my phone, when I did take it out with me. Fun In The Forest.

Secondly, Mollies Lion King Moment!! Mollie On Snake Rock?

Happy Wordless Or Not So Wordless Wednesday. Time to share some fun photos. My husband is off work this week and today we had a drive out to Sherwood Forest, in Nottinghamshire.

Mollie was running around like a kid at a candy store. She was giddy with delight at the prospect of running around and smelling all the new scents. I was overjoyed when I was able to get this image. This is one of my favourites!!

It reminds me of The Lion King for some reason!! This is a fantastic photo. Mollies ‘Lion King’ Experience!! What a lovely gesture.

The only problem was that I couldn’t seem to get the Circle Of Life song out of my head!! Mollies Lion King Moment!! Mollie On Snake Rock?

Thirdly, My Sunday Photo: In The Forest.

My Sunday photo was taken in Sherwood Forest. I loved this shot and when I got home Google had kindly enchanted a new copy for me! How nice of them! I love this one even better than the original. My Sunday Photo: In The Forest.

Fifthly, A Walk Around Sherwood Pines In The Summer.

On Saturday we took a lovely walk around Sherwood Pines whilst the boy ran around the trails doing their Parkrun course.
It was such a beautiful day and we also had fun with our cameras in the beautiful sunshine. A Walk Around Sherwood Pines In The Summer.

Sixth, The Major Oak In Sherwood Forest & Fashion Over 40.

The hubby, Mollie, and I spent the afternoon in Sherwood Forest on Thursday. I don’t recall the last time we went there, but it’s only a short drive from where we live. Have you ever paid a visit to Sherwood Forest?

Have you seen The Major Oak before? You are not permitted to approach the Major Oak since it is so old. However, you can snap a good selfie or photograph close to it!! Above is a picture of a large oak tree. As a result, we often overlook the beauty that surrounds us.

We also live there. We have a fascinating history right on our doorstep, and it has spent a lot of time in nature. The Major Oak In Sherwood Forest & Fashion Over 40.

Seventh, A Walk Around Sherwood Forest: Land Of Robin Hood.

It was such a lovely day yesterday. Isn’t the warmer weather making you feel better? The sun was shining, the sky was blue, and doesn’t the warmer weather make you feel good?

I’ve been sick all week with a terrible cough, possibly brought on by the return of cold weather. Today I’m going to show you some images from ‘A Walk Around Sherwood Forest.

These pictures were taken before the snow started to fall.

A Walk Through Sherwood Forest: Robin Hood’s Land. We enjoyed a beautiful family trip through Nottinghamshire’s Sherwood Forest. Is anyone up for a selfie with The Major Oak?

Bless him, he’s getting old! Do you have any experience with Sherwood Forest? A Walk Around Sherwood Forest: Land Of Robin Hood. So much fun.

Last But Not Least, A Walk In Sherwood Forest: Fashion For Women Over 40.

The sun shone brightly, and the air was crisp with an Autumn chill. Then it’s the perfect opportunity to wear my new Sainsbury’s jeans and Poncho! On wonderful Autumn days, there’s something unique about going through the woods.

Clear skies, fresh air, and kicking fallen leaves are all things that come to mind when I think of autumn. With the kids running around cheerfully and the dog behaving herself. Perfect!

We spent a terrific weekend here and also did a lot of exploration. Nature is still free. I also had a lot of fun wearing my new Poncho. It’s incredibly warm and inviting!

Very moody shot! In the 13 years I lived in Nottingham I never visited Sherwood Forest – I wish I had now!

This is so wonderful a view – the B&W adds a classic air to the scene – this view could be today or 100 years ago. Very artistic edit and scene!
