Six Items Or Less: Month Long Clothing Challenge:

Six Items Or Less: Month Long Clothing. Have you heard of this Challenge before?

So as I have just registered for the 3rd cycle. I also really liked taking part in it. Also, I missed the 1st one because I had not heard of it. Read about it, and joined in the 2nd cycle.

So could you only wear 6 items of clothing for 30 days? Without wearing anything else? Wash and wear? Repeat after repeat, day after day, for a month?

So what is the 6 items challenge?

Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. Cut down on clothing, amplify your style

Six Items Or Less: Here Are The Rules Of The Clothing Experiment.

Participants, aka us Sixers, you, me, or anyone who wants to join in the fun choose six, and only six items of clothing to wear for 30 days.

Blog about their experience together as a community on the Six Items Or Less website.

Don’t fret, there are exceptions to your six: shoes, underwear, pyjamas, workout clothes, work uniforms, and accessories don’t count towards your six items.

Cutting down on clothing isn't about sacrifice; it's about prioritising quality over quantity

Six Items Or Less: A Little Advice.

I mentioned I did cycle 2 but did not pick my six wisely!! I pick a pair of jeans, 2 sweatshirts, a black jumper, a jumpsuit and also a polka dot dress.

Also, my first choice was very safe and boring!! *Yawns* This time I am going for fun and exciting looks!!

So Last Times Outfits, Above.

Polka Dot Dress. My Polka Dot Dress ripped soon after I started the challenge. I guess it was not designed to last for hard-working-housework! I did buy it years and years ago off a car boot sale!

Also A Cotton Patterned Jumpsuit. My Cotton Jumpsuit never got worn. It was too cold for a summer jumpsuit!

2 Colourful Hoodies. Oversized Hoodies. Lovely and warm. Both bright and different in their own way.

And Also A Safe Black Jumper. A safe bet here!

So what I did enjoy was not having to worry about what I was going to wear tomorrow.

My outfits were already chosen and ready to be worn. So with all this in mind, I’ve just got to pick my six better this time. Any ideas?

When To Join In. The next cycle will run from 12:01 am March 28th through 11:59 pm April 26th. Who likes the idea of a nice clothing experiment? Honestly, how many clothes do you realistically need?

Less fabric, more freedom. Minimalism in clothing brings maximalism in life

Down one street or you could say graffiti alley we found lots of cool street art, including this one. We saw this cool street art with the kid from The Goonies film on the walls. Isn’t the detail on the painting, amazing.

To be honest, I have never watched this film all the way through but I knew who the painting was straight away. My kids and husband have watched it many times but I am usually busy doing something.

And not forgetting a selfie, as you do when you see some street art, well as I do!!
