Hasn’t the weather been beautiful over the last few days!! It has also been red hot, and last week on Monday when we were in London for the day.

So we went to London by train and then also walked from St Pancreas to Notting Hill as one of my sons and his girlfriends, had treated me and the hubby to afternoon tea, for my birthday. So much fun.

It was such a nice day, and it was also a pleasure to walk all the way from the train station.

Well, it was until around the 15,000 steps mark, then I started getting tired and hot. We walked over 24,000 steps in total that day. No wonder I slept well that night.

I just forgot to iron it and it was only when people were noticing it, I wish I had made more of an effort!!

1. Firstly, A Pink Strawberry Dress From Amazon. As soon as I seen this dress, I knew I had to have it!!
2. Secondly, Some Red Flat Mary Jane Double Strapped Shoes. Don’t you just love red Mary Jane shoes? I have my eyes on some Red Patent Mary Janes on Amazon too!! Red Patient Mary Janes. Also I would love some Green Patent Mary Jane Shoes.
3. Thirdly, A Cream Handbag. Cream is a good colour choice a because, like white and black it goes with most outfits.
4. Fourthly, A Strapless Bra. So no straps would be seen!!
5. Fifth, Some Glossy 10 Denier Tights. So I had shiny legs.
6. Sixth, Red Lipstick. Love a red lip! My favourite brand is Rimmel. Red Lipstick and or any brand of lips shine gloss.
7. Seventh, An Apple Watch. To track them steps I clocked up!

How To Style A Strawberry Afternoon Tea Dress In Your 50s? You simply do not need many accessories. Because the dress itself is stunning. Lots of colour and an amazing pattern. Just a simple pair of shoes in a colour that will match your dress and a little gold or silver necklace.

I actually forgot my necklace and I was so mad about that, haha!! As it was still picked out and left on the side. I did only have red Converse, heels, or my Wizard Of Oz shoes, so I grabbed these double strapped flat shoes from Primark, in the sale for £4.00 the day before we went.

I didn’t have chance to bed them in and we walked 24,000 steps, so I am supper glad they didn’t rub my feet. Thanks to the tights for that!! If it was cooler, I would have paired it up with a little white fitted cardigan or a green one, to match the little greeny leafs on the strawberries.

Don’t also forget the pop of red lipstick. A must for me. Stand with Tower Bridge in the distance, head and body placed in between the two towers and voila, you have a picture like me.

When no one is around and you have the place to yourself. The tranquil Thames mirrors the soft, pastel sky, creating a breathtaking symphony of colours that heralds the beginning of a new day. Have you ever watched the Sunrise At Tower Bridge?
