The only reason why we ask other people how their weekend was is so we can tell them about our own weekend. – Chuck Palahniuk.
Hello friends, Happy Monday. So lovelies, how was your weekend. Haha!! See what I did there?
How was my weekend, you ask? It was good thank you. On the blog today, I am Styling An Orange Inspired Outfit.

Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me- George Michael and Elton John. Spring’s to my mind when I looked back on these evening photos.
It was my weekend to work so when I got home yesterday my husband had a nice big Sunday dinner waiting for me as it was his day off work. How lovely of him!!
Then a treacle tart and custard. Yummy.
He even brought us a bottle of red wine to go with the dinner. But I was so tired from the working weekend, having to work late Saturday night then back out early Sunday morning.
So I decided to save that for another day.
It was such a beautiful evening that we went for a walk with my daughter.
I so miss walkies with Mollie. I never go a walk on my own as they are boring. Not last night though, my daughter had some photography homework and she needed some still and moving pictures.
A photoshoot with my daughter and watching the sunset in the distance was lovely.
Until she got me to swing fast on the swings to capture her moving photos!! It was getting dark and there were no children in the park, so I didn’t mind having a try.
I think she captured so great shots but I didn’t have my reading glasses on at the park. Then when we got home she off she went to edit them and out early for college today so I will have to wait and see them!!
My husband did capture these photos on his phone and shared them with me. I am so looking forward to seeing my daughter’s photos though.

The Outfit:
So, I have these trousers in red so as soon as I saw these orange ones in the charity shop for £2.75 I knew I had to have them as well. I love my red ones so much.
I also picked up this cool vintage-style tank top up from Primark on Thursday in Meadow Hall. Also, I am hoping it will go with my long maxi dresses this autumn.
Pairing it with complementary colours like earthy browns or crisp whites or light lemon can help balance the look, while also allowing the orange to take center stage.
Consider incorporating different textures and patterns to add depth and visual interest to your outfit.
Whether you’re rocking a casual daytime look or dressing up for a night out, embracing the orange trend is sure to make a stylish statement that radiates confidence and flair.

We had a lovely evening but forgot about the insects. My poor husband was a target for them and got bitten quite a few times. That reminds me why I stopped running in the evening because they used to love me!

This is a great women’s tank top for layering, each season. I am so looking forward to wearing it in summer with my long maxi dresses too.
