Summer Bucket List Of Things To Do

Summer Bucket List Of Things To Do:

Hello friends. The Summer holidays officially start for me today at 4 pm when I break up from work for two weeks. Today I am sharing our crazy bucket list.

The children will be off for six weeks and it is time to make some fun plans for Summer. All our summer fun will be in the UK and here are a few of our bucket list ideas:

Summer Bucket List Of Thing's To Do

Visit Butlins:

Firstly, Visit Butlins. With my Daughter having coeliac disease it is hard to find gluten free places to eat out. Butlins were amazing last year and the chiefs came out and told each day which foods did not contain gluten. So it is top of our list this Summer. Butlins in Bognor Regis is where we have planned. Butlins in Bognar Regis. So much to do with kids in Butlins and summer is always full of fun activities. So much fun here.

Secondly, Take Lots Of Train Rides. Travel as much as we can an visit lots of favourite and also new places. Take lots of train rides. Here there and everywhere. Great for a fun day out.

Thirdly, Have A BBQ Or Afternoon Tea Outside. Make the most of the Great British weather ad hopefully our days will be nice enough to eat outside when we are home. Afternoon Tea outside! How yummy!? If you want to spoil someone with afternoon tea too, look at this post! Afternoon Tea Recipes: Spoil Your Mum On Mother’s Day. So yummy.

Visit Bakewell in Derbyshire:

Fourthly, Visit Bakewell in Derbyshire. We love to visit Bakewell, especially when we have time off and can spend the day there. Would you like to look around Bakewell Church? The river is pretty cool and the fish and chips are amazing. Not forgetting the Bakewell tarts and puddings!!

Fifth, Go To The Beach. Can not wait to visit a few different beaches this year. Beach Hair Don’t Care! Not been to the beach since last Summer and can not wait to walk bare foot down the beach and dip my toes into the sea.

Sixth, Early Morning Runs. I need to get fit this Summer, especially when we do go away and eat more food. I need to cram the most into our days I need to be out running early. Run Mum Run!! Taking the kids on a run can be fun but challenging if they are younger.

Seventh, Visit Matlock in Derbyshire. Love to Visit Matlock and Matlock Baths. Nice relaxing walks with the family. We visited a few day ago and always love to go again and again. So good here.

Beautiful Colours Of Summer In St James Park

Play Tennis And Make The Most Of The Parks And Outside Gyms Around Us:

Eighth, Play Tennis And Make The Most Of The Parks And Outside Gyms Around Us. Make the most of all the open spaces around us that cost nothing too! Free Outside Gyms are so much fun.

Ninth, Visit Clumber Park In Nottingham. Clumber Park is always a lovely place to visit. With lots of fun walks to be taken. A Family Day Out In Clumber Park, Nottinghamshire.

Tenth, Victoria Embankment, Nottingham. Victoria Embankment Nottingham. Always a pretty place to visit. Especially when the flowers are out around this time of year. Victoria Embankment Nottingham.

Eleventh, Sherwood Forest, Nottingham. A Walk Around Sherwood Forest is always a place we like to visit in Summer holidays. Plus it is not far away from us. Nearly on our doorstep.

Summer Bucket List Of Things To Do

Summer Bucket List Of Things To Do:

Twelfth, The Gym. A bit of a boring one but having time off from work gives me more time to go to the gym. Another thing I need to get up early for. Before days out. And before lots of chips and junk food.

Thirteenth, Visit Lincoln in Lincolnshire. Brr, how cold has it been this week! Autumn Winter is finally here. I find it hard to take nice photos outside when it is really cold so today I am sharing some from the Summer when it was really hot and I had too many photos and too little time to share these. These are from a day out in Lincoln with my Husband and youngest Son. A Day Out In Lincoln or two!

Fourteenth, Basket Ball. The kids love going to the park to play basketball. We have so much fun there!! We always get up early before the big kids in the summer holidays. This way we get the basket ball courts to ourselves.

Fifteenth, Lots Of Walking Mollie To The Parks. The joys of having a dog. We have to get up early and take our walkies though. Before the pavements get to hot for her little paws. Lots of fun things to spot in the woods. Why not make a nature list and tick off everything the kids find?

Summer Bucket List Of Thing's To Do

Visit Blackpool, Lancashire:

Sixteenth, Love Blackpool. One of my favourite places to visit, year after year! Can not wait to visit again this year! Love visiting Blackpool Tower.

Seventeen, Days Out At Skegness Lincolnshire. Only a few hours away by train so a nice and easy place to visit.

Eighteen, A Visit To Newstead Abbey, Nottinghamshire. A walk around Newstead Abbey is always a good idea! Newstead Abbey: Rose Garden Fountain, Notts.

Nineteen, A Beach Themed Garden Party. Is always a good idea. With lots of pools, inflatables and lots of beach party food is always a fun idea. Here are a few food ideas: 7 Beach Inspired Sweet Recipes To Try Out This Summer.

Twenty, Shopping in Manchester. I’ve heard the Primark in Manchester has Friends cafe! I need to visit.

Twenty-First, A Day Trip To Bournemouth. Somewhere I have always wanted to visit but not yet got to go to. Maybe this year.

London
Tower Bridge Morning Sunrise

Summer Bucket List Of Things To Do:

Twenty-Second, Love London. Also, love all of our visits to London. Always so much to see and do. Love taking photos around London. Our favourite being around the Tower Bridge. The M&M shop is always a fun place to visit with the kids. It is free and you can take lots of cool photos. I Want A Mini Just Like This! Or visit a show? West End Musical This Summer? How To Decide: West End Musical This Summer? How To Decide. A Trip To Selfridges: Creative Mondays Link Up: A Trip To Selfridges.

Twenty- Third, Grandmas And Granddads. We make a day out of it and walk and take a train ride to make the journey much more fun. It is miles away but oh so much more fun than visiting by car.

Twenty- Fourth, 5 parks in 5 hours. A fun challenge I made for the kids years ago, that they still love! 5 Parks In 5 Hours. Over at The Gallery blog hop this week the theme is World Photography Day and we have also been set a challenge to take a photo to treasure for generations to come. The Photo Gallery: World Photography Day.

Fun Fair:

Twenty-Fifth, Funfair. The kids love also the funfairs. Also, I like to watch them having fun, now days. I do not have the stomach for rides now. I also hate anything that spins to fast. It makes my head hurt so much!! Look for your nearest funfair and let the kids pick out their favourite rides. But the kids love them. So good.

Twenty-Sixth, Visit Leicester. Leicester is a good day out, especially when the summer sales are on! So good here.

Twenty-Seventh, A Walk Up The Peak District. So much fun. Until you get lost!! Ha, we only got lost ones when we took a wrong turn. Well we wasn’t lost, Just didn’t know where we were!! So much fun.

Twenty-Eighth, Park Run. Another fitness challenge!! But a good one. So why not train up for a 5k?

Twenty-Ninth, Visit Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Queens Park in Chesterfield is a lovely place to visit. See our Nature Walk Queens Park Chesterfield. So good.

A Walk Around Ladybower Reservoir, Derbyshire:

Thirty, A Walk Around Ladybower Reservoir, Derbyshire. Lots of fun walks in the peak district is always called for. So cool too if you need to get away from the hot weather, walk up the peak district.

Thirty-First, Around Nottingham Castle. Nottingham Castle And The Robin Hood Statue. Also, one of my daughter and I’s favourite places to take photos has to be around Nottingham Castle. They even have a fun red phone box there and we have often visited, for photos here. Nottingham Castle And The Robin Hood Statue. Fun place for photos too. So much fun.

Thirty- Second, Visit York. Another fun place to visit with so much to see and do. A Day Out In York: Way Back Wednesday Style Post. Sometimes you are on the move all the time and forget to share photos as you have moved on to another day out then times like now you go back and remember, whoo I forgot to share that day!! Then wonder why because it was a great day out, then remember because the kids were off school and you just did not have time then. A Day Out In York. So much fun.
