Teddy Coat And Lemon Skirt: London Style

Teddy Coat And Lemon Skirt: A Few Red Telephone Boxes Chucked In For Good Measure!

Hello friends, so how are you today? Happy Tuesday. Have you had a good Easter?

I have been working all weekend, so not really done much. A nice and relaxing day off yesterday though. I didn’t do much though, as I picked up a flu-like bug that knocked me off my feet for the day.

Also, I hate being poorly. I feel so sorry for myself when I am. Do you too?

Today I am styling my spring lemon skirt when it is not that warm! When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Or grab the tequila!!

This is my winter crossing over to spring but I don’t want to be cold look.

So I chucked on tight tights and added my teddy coat. Not forgetting my big chunky winter boots.

As I needed something comfortable for miles and miles of walking.

It is all going on in this outfit, isn’t it?

Teddy Coat And Lemon Skirt & A Few Red Telephone Boxes:

Teddy Coat And Lemon Skirt. Monday the week before on my day off, my husband, son and I had a day out in London for my son’s 19th birthday.

I wanted to wear something nice for London but as it was an early start I didn’t want to get cold either. I was pleased my big teddy coat did come along as at times I got cold.

Step up your winter wardrobe with a fashion-forward ensemble by pairing a cosy teddy coat with a cheerful lemon-coloured skirt.

The plush texture of the teddy coat adds warmth and a touch of contemporary flair to the outfit, enveloping you in a cozy cocoon of comfort.

Opt for a calf-length or midi lemon skirt to infuse a burst of sunny vibrancy into the look. The contrast between the soft, neutral tones of the teddy coat and the bold citrus hue of the skirt creates a visually striking and well-balanced combination.

Consider a tucked-in light-weight jumper or a fitted sweater to streamline the silhouette, allowing the textures and colours to take center stage.

Complete the ensemble with opaque tights and ankle boots for a seamless transition between the cosy textures of the teddy coat and the refreshing zest of the lemon skirt.

This stylish pairing effortlessly combines warmth and brightness, making it a perfect choice for both casual outings and more polished occasions during the chilly winter months.

Even though it was lovely and warm in the afternoon. I did end up carrying my coat for a while but I do think I wore it more than carried it so that was good.

We had a great day in London and a visit to Richmond as my son and husband love watching Ted Lasso.

I think I heard someone saying they would be filming yesterday, so it looks like we just missed out. But then again if they were filming we wouldn’t have got the chance to have a drink in the pub and take some fun photos, would we!!

We set off at about 7am for a walk to the train station.

Even though we were all tired and didn’t really want to get up at 6 to get ready.

Caught the train to Nottingham, then run to catch the train to London before it left.

A few more trains/underground to Richmond.

A morning in Richmond.

Afternoon walking around London.

The same amount of trains back. Then got home before it got dark. It is amazing what you can do in a day, isn’t it? We all had a great day.

My son was so tired, that he slept most of the way home.

You can see a fun Instagram Reel here as it was really windy in some parts: Windy Day In London.

What I Wore. You have to wear sparkles on your youngest son’s birthday, don’t you?

What I Wore:

Teddy Jacket: Tu Clothing at Sainsbury’s (Spring Teddy Jacket’s Out Now!) Coat Teddy Bear Jacket || Sparkly Green Jumper: Tu Clothing at Sainsbury’s || Lemon Skirt: H&M || Vegan Boots: Tu Clothing at Sainsbury’s

I love this jumper but it is a bit itchy around the neck. I also wore it here:

My skirt was in my wardrobe, still tagged up from last Christmas. Back then, I had nowhere to wear it.

My jumper was a gift from my husband a few weeks ago from the supermarket. Along with this beautiful tartan skirt (obviously, I picked as he would not know what I like but he paid).

My ‘Love The Planet’ Vegan Boots, were also brought earlier this year. Layering Up Time Again!! Cozy Coat And Sparkles!!

Firstly, Family Guy Street Art: Summer Dresses At The Ready.

Today I’m going to show you some street art that we came across last year. I forgot to post them on the blog because I took hundreds of images while we visited Camden.

Do you enjoy watching Family Guy? It is something that my husband and sons like viewing. The jokes make them laugh so hard!

After my trip to London on Monday, I’m itching to return to Camden with my daughter. Now since we haven’t been this year, it’s even more so.

So, after seeing these images from June of last year, my daughter and I have made plans to visit Camden in the coming weeks.

I’m looking for more street art and interesting images. Brian the Dog from Family Guy. Family Guy Street Art: Summer Dresses At The Ready.
