So today I am trying something different, a throwback Thursday post.

The Photo Shoot In Manchester With Marisota:

Also, a throwback post full of nostalgic pictures. A fun post of a day I loved. Being an over 40 model for the day. So I am sharing it again because it was such a fun day.

These photos from the past bring back so many fond memories. Such a great day. I was up really early and travelled to Manchester on my own. 

Travelling on my own to a big city is something I have never done before as I did not think I was brave enough. It just goes to show you that you can do anything if you want too.

Would I do it again!? Yes!!! Because it was so much fun.

I have never shared these photos here before. Mostly images from a photoshoot with Marisota at Christmas 2015. I also had an amazing time in Manchester at the JD Williams head office. Just living the dream, haha!!

I remember getting up extra early to catch a train to Nottingham and then another one. I remember being especially excited to see what the day would bring.

Then the next thing I was in Manchester. The snow was falling, I sat in a coffee shop looking at the Christmas tree lights glittering.

I was full of excitement of what was to come. Because I had never done anything like this before.

Me here, having my hair and makeup done and picking out my favourite outfits for a Christmas photoshoot.

So does the little red dress ever go out of fashion? Just like the little black dress doesn’t? I think not!! Because you can not go wrong with a bright red dress and red lipstick. So cheerful!! As well as being beautiful and bright.

How fun!? I felt like a model for the day instead of running around after children and getting all messy. It was so much fun.

Such an amazing day. I felt like Sandy from Grease in the black PVC trousers and red heels. Don’t you just love red shoes and red lipstick?

Also, what a beautiful day. On my fashion blog (Fashion On A Shoestring) I’m making goals to get fit again after a few weeks of with the Summer holidays. (I dread to think of how unfit I have become again!!) My goal is to get back into this dress by Christmas. Pop over if you get the chance 😁
