Clocking Up Steps:

Clocking Up Steps. We have walked thousands of steps. Some days I hit 20,000 steps on my Fit Bit and I even clocked up 30,000 one day.

Catching A Nasty Cold. All this and catching a very nasty cold that has hung around for nearly two weeks. Starting with a really sore throat and turning into an awful cough.

Time Away From Work. It feels like I have been away from work for months as we have done so much. I had just started a new job which I love so I am looking forward to going back tomorrow.

Favourite Ways to Wear a Swing Dress:

Favourite Ways to Wear a Swing Dress. This is the first time I have worn this dress and love it. I do love a good vintage style dress. This swing style always feels great to wear and the print is lovely. My favourite way to wear one is by keeping everything else simple. The dress is a statement so shoes, cardigans and jewellery all need to be simple and plain.

Firstly, Green Polka Dot Dress: Creative Mondays Link Up. I treated myself to this green polka dot dress from Primark about 6 weeks ago but I’ve been waiting for a nice day to wear it. Saturday was the day! It was beautiful. I even had to buy some new sun cream as it was so hot. Amazing how I was only wearing a big jumper a week ago! Green Polka Dot Dress.

Secondly, Just Another Manic Monday Creative Mondays Link Up. Feeling really old too!! Saturday my youngest Son and I were the only 2 left home so I challenged him to a game of basketball at the park. Just Another Manic Monday.

Thirdly, Long Black & Flowered M&S Maxi Dress For Spring. The weather has been so up and down lately, it is hard to know what to wear too. I mean, if Winter has been Winter without that lovely sunshine. I would not have got my wardrobe ready for Spring already! Also my big jumpers would not have been packed away this early. Long Black & Flowered M&S Maxi Dress For Spring.

Cherry Swing Dress:

Fourthly, Cherry Dress: Throwback Thursday Nottingham Castle. Also, I wore this outfit back in Summer 2018 on a day out in Nottingham. This dress is still one of of my favourites, I just do not get to wear it much unless I team it up with my chunky red jumper, thick black tights and boots. Cherry Dress. Throwback Thursday Nottingham Castle. So much fun.

Fifth, A Trip To Selfridges: Creative Mondays Link Up. Mini-me and I had a fun day out in London a few days ago in the search of some gluten-free doughnuts. We caught 2 trains to London, took a long 2 ish miles walk from St Pancras to the bottom of Oxford Street and visited a bakery in Selfridges to buy some gluten-free treats my Daughter had seen on Instagram. A Trip To Selfridges. Creative Mondays Link Up.

Sixth, Thrift Thursday: Red Tartan Dress And An Apple Dress. Not an altogether wasted 3 miles walk round trip back to the Doctors again though as I picked up these beautiful dresses off the pound rail at the charity shop. I had not been to the Charity shops in ages and was really pleased with my dresses. Dresses: Local Charity Shop £1.00 each!! Thrift Thursday: Red Tartan Dress And An Apple Dress. So sweet.
