Vintage Style With A Modern Twist:

If I was to describe my style I would say it is Vintage Style With A Modern Twist. I love all vintage styles that come back in fashion again. Swing dresses and polka dots being my all time favourites. I just adore this Sainsbury’s dress I am wearing in todays post. Design by Gok Wan.

Vintage Style With A Modern Twist:

Vintage Style With A Modern Twist. Also, I wore this outfit on a rainy day at the weekend. We had a few hours spare so went to Meadowhall shopping centre in Sheffield. You know when you don’t have money and see lots of things you want to buy? then when you have birthday money, burning a hole in your pocket but can not spend it? Well, that is what kind of day I had.

And to top things off I tried to buy a few pretty silver rings from a well-known jewellery shop the day after. Another location but the staff was too busy chatting with friends to serve me, even though I had money in my hand!! So I had to walk out empty handed. So I still have my birthday money to spend.

Now torn; new rings or new shoes? Or both, ha!!

My Favourite Style:

So I wore this dress on Saturday, as my husband mention it in a conversation. He spotted a picture on Facebook and said- “I’ve not seen you wear this dress in a while” “You look lovely in this” So off I toddled upstairs and went to pop it one. Like you do 😉 Haha!!

I live near you- I go to Meadowhall too occasionally but I prefer it midweek when it's quieter! Shame that you had bad service in a store! The photo effects you used in the post look great!

I love how you mix and matched the fun scarf and the dress patterns, I want to wear scarf more often, but have hard time matching them to the outfit! BTW, the water heater in our house broke this week. We got it replaced, but it was not fun taking cold showers for 2 days!
