What I Wore: Shopping In Meadowhall: Over 40 Style. Hello friends.
My husband had a rare Saturday off work today so we had a nice lazy Saturday, a lovely well earned sleep in and a day shopping at Meadowhall.
So I wore my Primark dress I picked up for £5.00 in the sales. I am not sure why I went 2 sizes up when I brought it!?
Of course, I think I was having a feeling fat day!
So I pulled it all together with a belt.
Not quite sure if I like it though so I might have to come up with and up cylcle project. Once I have all my other ideas out the way.
I can never win, if I don’t buy then to small I buy them to big. So do you buy clothes like this or is it just me?
Loving my shoes I had for Christmas and so did lots of other people by the looks of it.
My husband mention “have you seen everyone looking at your feet?” No? “I replied”
Then I noticed, that lots of people was staring!!
I also got a compliment off the young man in the Disney shop!!

Dress ~ Primark
So eventually after looking around all the toy shops in and around Meadowhall I eventuality got to a crafting shop.
I picked up some ribbons and hearty things for some Valentine crafty things I have planned. Indeed, sometime just the simple things pleases me!!
Just got back to the car and a voice message, we had visitors.
Mother in law asking me to open the door to the house. They had came over to surprise us.
Lucky we have a pub nearby so the could wait for us to drive home.
So after fetching and cleaning my daughters kitchen from the shed I can now put my feet up and wait for the husband now to fetch yummy pizza for tea.

Firstly, no, I do not mean food shopping, we’ve been doing that I mean clothes shopping!! As a family too.
Well my youngest 2, the husband and I. Something else we don’t do very often too.
My kids are not fans of going out in crowds at the minute with COVID-19.

I found these photos on my computer and though how sweet they were. Me and my youngest two children! Who are no so young now!
Also, I just wish time would go by a little slower!! Plus it is rare to get photos with my youngest two nowadays!! It’s always, “Mum can we do a photo later or I’m too busy!!” Polka Dots And Meadowhall.

I had quite a packed Saturday actually but it was great! I think this outfit looks really pretty on you (and your flicky eye-makeup is really nice!) and not too big! I have a problem with this paisley Cath Kidston shirt dress I own- I bought a size 8 and yet the waist is still MASSIVE on me so I have to wear it with actually a belt similar to your one here! Maybe it's shirt dresses- they come up large?x
