Windy!? What I Wore: Over 40 Style.
Thursday already!? Another week has just flown by.
Windy!? What I Wore: Over 40 Style.
I woke up a bit stiff today. Not from running club on Tuesday night, no. From riding my Daughters scooter!!
Yesterday my Daughter had planned her run with Dad. ‘Great I thought’ I can have a day off from running.
After a bit of moaning as Dad wanted to go straight after school, she decided to leave her run.
Off my Husband and son went to do their training.
I sat and had something to eat.
The next thing was “Mum can you take me running”.
Grr, I have just had something to eat and I am too full to run.
“Please Mum”
Please, please, please!?
How can you say no to that!?
Well, I will follow you on my scooter then. OK, she replied…
So off we went to get the scooter but the car was parked too close to the garage door and the hubby had taken the garage keys.
Then we went to the shed to see if we could find anything in here to ride on.
All we could find was one of my Daughters old scooters.
No way mum you are too big for this!!
It is either this or nothing!? I replied!?
OK, but if we see anyone in the park you have to get off and pretend you are carrying it for me!!
Deal…
Boy did we laugh!
It was so funny me trying to ride her scooter.
2 miles nearly done and that is when I went over the handles bars.
I was so lucky my Daughter was that side to break my fall.
I went crashing to the ground and heard my neck crack so loudly as I banged my head on the floor.
I am feeling so lucky I fell into my Daughter before I hit the ground or I could have rally damage my neck.
I am also so glad no one seen me.
I mean, how quickly do you hit the floor when you are older too.
It is like a slow motion feeling but going down so quickly.
Very strange feeling.
Moral of the story is: do not ride a scooter that is too small for you. LOL!!
I can not wait for the scrap metal man to ride by now.
Guess where this old scooter is going?
How beautiful is the weather again!?
Lovely. I need to get some gardening done now if I can bend properly!
