It has done nothing but rain since we got back off holiday, on Sunday!! I might wear my jelly shoes to stop my shoes and trainers getting wet!!

So today I am updating and resharing a post I wrote 11 years ago, first called, Jelly Sandals: Next Big Trend? 80’s Style Back Again?

Because they are also back for another summer, year after year and I want to share some fun shoes here with you today as I have just brought some more.

Plus you can now pick them up at a great price and save them for next year.

I just picked these up from Primark at a crazy price and they are so comfortable!! So let me know which outfit you like best!

Remember slipping on a pair of jelly sandals as a kid? Bright colours, fun shapes, maybe even a bit of glitter?

Well, they’re back and this time, they’re not just for the playground.

Firstly, above my silver glitter jelly shoes I picked up way back in 2014. I loved these but they were a big hard on the feet.

I also remember wearing them around the 80s and my children wearing them when they were little too. I had the big holey see-through plastic bags too, and loved them!!

They bring them out for adults every year but they were set to be a big trend this year as they are everywhere I look!

I was not brave enough last year but at a bargain price, I will try any fashion trend.

So many good memories. Now I am in my 50’s I think, just wear what you love!!

Really fed up of the rain now.  I have dug out my jelly shoes from last year to wear. Then when I’m not on a walk with Mollie I wear these. This way I don’t want to ruin my new sandals.

We should be wearing sandals now!? It is Summer!?

These jelly shoes are so much fun to wear. I really wish I was wearing them at a beach though. That was the reason I brought them for in the first place.

Even though we went away a few weeks ago I never got to visit the beach because of the rain!
