Olympic Torch Relay in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire......

Dispite the typical British weather we had a great turn out to see the Olympic Torch Relay in Mansfield.A hour before we left to get a good spot to watch the relay we had a thunder, lightning and a torrential downpour. At one stage there was some kind of lightning bolt that throw some kind of elctric spark from the computer that made me scream and dive under my covers for safety...

The pictures didn't turn out to great because at this stage it started to rain again...

And here I am wearing my Paralympics GB Supporters’ Scarves but you can't tell as with all the rain it was stuck to my head...

  1. Still looks like you had a good time, despite the weather. And the pictures are pretty good! We had a great time when the torch came our way and we were lucky with very hot weather!
