Hot Cross Bun Day: Creative Mondays blog hop...

Happy 10/09/2017 Creative Mondays. Welcome to this weeks fun, creative and stylish blog hop.

How was your weekend? All good I hope?

Today is also Hot Cross Bun day! Strange, I would have thought this day would have been around Easter. I love hot crossed buns, especially toasted.

It is all happening around here. Today I am off to a funeral :( My Mother in Laws, Sister has died.

On Saturday my 2nd eldest Son left home again, after being home from Uni for 10 weeks to starts his new job. I can not wait to hear how his first day goes.

Also, last week I shared a post that has turned our lives around; finding out my Daughter has Coeliac Disease. I am hoping this news will help us all eat healthier now as my Daughter can not eat out much unless we find some good Gluten Free places to eat. So no more fish and chippy chips for us.

We have had a lot of support of friends and family and we are looking forward to moving forward. I can not wait to see what the hospital has to say in a months time.

Before we party, I would like to feature some of the posts that caught my eye from last week:

Jacqui share here 50 Over 50 Challenge and shares her Amazing Lace post. Some beautiful outfits here.

Dark Chocolate Mousse anyone? How Yummy!?

Love the material Julie use to make her new bag: Long- Short Handle Bag.

Penny's Fall Farmhouse Mantel looks absolutely beautiful.

4 Quick & Easy Prosciutto di Parma Ham Naan Bread Pizzas.

Fancy making some Hot Cross Buns for Hot Cross Bun Day?

  2. Thanks so much for featuring my bag pattern, what a lovely start to the week.
You really have had quite a week. I have a couple of friends on gluten free diets and although not quite the same a coeliac where you have to be very careful they find that gluten free flour bakes in pretty much the same way as normal flour. The range of foods available in supermarkets is now much more too, but they are pricey. They tell me home baking is the way to go.

  3. I bet you can find tons of GF places out! I find sushi, Indian, and Thai are the easiest - but there are a few places with GF pizza by me! I have a friend in Northborough that if GF and she can get fish and chips!

  5. I am so sorry to hear about your daughter's diagnosis, but I suppose knowing is half the battle. Now you get take the appropriate steps to to a gluten free diet which will for sure improve how she feels. I wish you ease with the transition! By the way, I now have the Hot Cross Buns song in my head...You know the one....

    Hot cross buns,
    Hot cross buns,
    one ha' penny,
    two ha' penny,
    hot cross buns.

    If you have no daughters,
    give them to your sons,
    one ha' penny,
    two ha' penny,
    Hot Cross Buns

Is it stuck in your head now, too? You're welcome!

Thanks for the link up. Have a fabulous Monday.
