A Dog Will Teach You Unconditional Love. Hello friends, happy Friday. So how are you today?
Have you seen my fur baby brother, Freddie? He is my mum’s dog and he is adorable. I love him to pieces.
I wish I could spend more time with him but we live a few miles away.
Also with work and life, it is impossible to see him every day.
“A dog will teach you unconditional love. If you can have that in your life, things won’t be too bad.” Robert Wagner.
A Dog Will Teach You Unconditional Love:
A Dog Will Teach You Unconditional Love. They sure do. I am still missing Mollie The Collie so much.
Like yesterday when all her tennis balls are in the corner of the passageway in the hall. It reminds me of a line from the Ed Sheeran song, Supermarket flowers- I took the supermarket flowers from the windowsill. I threw the day-old tea from the cup.
When Mollie was gone, the first thing I did was removed everything out of sight.
Well, I thought I did until I mowed the garden and accidently, cut two of her tennis balls in half. Then I found more under the settee, then I found even more yesterday in the corner. She had so many!!
This week I have started getting into running again to help with my wellbeing and I am really enjoying it. I have recharged my Garmin but ever so often it beeps and I turn around for Mollie.
Mollie used to love that beeping sound.
Whenever she heard it she ran to me. Whether or not she was sleeping. I don’t know what it was. But she loved that noise.
Maybe she thought it was time for walkies as we always went running together a few years ago. Mollie On Our Runs.
Just when you think you are OK something is around the corner to remind you of her!

The six-week Summer vacation has left us buzzing. Days out here, visits to family there, and a last-minute vacation for our 21st wedding anniversary last week. We’re feeling the effects of all these days out. That’s right, it’s me! I’m exhausted.
Today is going to be a relaxing day!! Before the craziness of back-to-school preparations on Wednesday. Why do I usually put off doing a few things until the last possible moment?
You’d think that with four kids, I’d be more organised!!Isn’t it no fun if you don’t have anything to worry about?
We’ve been out and about this summer, looking for new Parkuns to sample.

Thanks for hosting Claire! It’s been a year since Tsunami crossed the Rainbow Bridge and he is still on my heart every day. The depth of our grief reflects the depth of our love for our pet and the impact he had on our lives. I remember Mollie and the joy she gave you and us with great fondness. xoxo

Thanks Gail. Aww yes I would love one but we have decided we are going to have a year travelling first. But we have been looking at dogs too, so you never know.
They certainly do! And cats too! Thank you for the party.
