My new favourite place, for afternoon tea. We loved it. Even better being a quite Thursday afternoon, we got the whole place to ourselves.
We had a lovely day out in Bakewell, yesterday. Afternoon Tea At The Rutland Arms.
The Rutland Arms elegantly blends historical charm with modern touches.
Lets start off with a, how amazing is this floor! Love it.
Whoo firstly, tea is served.
Oh, what a treat it was to step into that cosy, elegant dining room at The Rutland Arms.
Soft light, gentle chatter, and adorable tea cups and saucers that just begs you to linger. I loved looking around all the painting on the wall. So grand. And the tables and chairs are beautiful.
The scones—oh, the scones! The were the best bits, but it was also hard to choose!! Because everything was good.
They were golden, tender, and begged for generous dollops of cream that melt slowly into tasty jam.
The little sandwiches were perfectly dainty. Each bite so dainty, so right. And the cakes—well, they were gorgeous little indulgences in their own right.

Afternoon tea menu, delicious finger sandwiches, amazing baked scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam, plus a tempting stand of min cakes. All paired up with tea and refills.
It truly felt like a little hug, a quiet moment of luxury that wraps you in comfort—just perfect. Loved every minute of it here.
