Reliving The Hoodwinked 2018: My Favourite Sculptures In Nottingham.
Hello friends, Happy Wednesday. So how are you today?
Thanks so much for stopping by here today and joining us for The Wednesday Link Up.
Do you remember The Hoodwinked 2018 trail in Nottingham? It feels like yesterday that the city streets came alive with brightly decorated bird sculptures, each one a little masterpiece with its own story to tell.
I loved exploring them, snapping photos along the way, and discovering new favourites tucked around corners.

These posts are all from Nottingham.

Judge Robin: A Stunning Sculpture On Nottingham’s Hoodwinked 2018 Trail:
Firstly, Judge Robin: A Stunning Sculpture On Nottingham’s Hoodwinked 2018 Trail.
How cool is Judge Robins!? I love the attention to detail.
A sunny afternoon in Nottingham, I wandered into Nottingham and came face to face with Judge Robin a breathtaking mosaic from the Hoodwinked 2018 art trail.
On Saturday my Husband and I had a rare afternoon out on our own Nottingham. A few drinks and lots of food was lovely.
Also, we took photos of some more of the Hoodwinked2018 trails in Nottingham too, this is No.2. The Judge Robin.

In this post, I’m revisiting my Hoodwinked 2018 adventure with a gallery of the incredible sculptures I spotted.
From bold designs to quirky characters, each one brought a smile to my face.
Scroll down and let’s relive the trail together and if you went too, I’d love to know which sculpture was your favourite!

Secondly, Roots Of Boots Sculptor:
The Roots of Boots sculpture was one of my favourites from the Hoodwinked 2018 trail. Painted with striking detail,.
It celebrated Nottingham’s rich heritage, weaving together the story of Robin Hood with the city’s famous links to Boots, the chemist founded here in the last 18 to19th century.
Its design blended history and community pride, reminding us of the deep “roots” that shaped the city.
I loved how it stood out among the trail, catching attention with its bold colours and storytelling artwork.
Roots of Boots wasn’t just a sculpture; it was a reminder of Nottingham’s identity and creative spirit.

Royal Robin Redbreast:
Thirdly, Royal Robin Redbreast.
This one was on Carrington Street, just outside the train station.
Have you ever discovered a mosaic in the street that stopped you in your tracks?
On Carrington Street in Nottingham I stumbled upon the Royal Robin Redbreast, part of the Hoodwinked 2018 trail, and its vibrant colours made me pause.
What I Wore:
- Kimono: Yumi
- Dress: George At Adsa
- Sandals: c/o New Look

Fourthly, Rockin Robin:
The Rockin’ Robin sculpture was a real showstopper on the Hoodwinked 2018 trail. With its vibrant design and colourful theme, it brought a burst of energy to the streets of Nottingham.
Dressed in bright flashes of colour, making it feel like having fun there in the city centre.
It perfectly captured the spirit of fun and creativity that Hoodwinked was all about.
Rockin’ Robin didn’t just stand still it rocked the trail and made everyone smile.

Cute dresses! My favorite outfit is the pink, lacy dress with the white sneakers. I appreciate the photos from Nottingham. I’m coming to England, Scotland, and Wales in May. I’m so excited and looking forward to the trip. I’ve been to England only twice and absolutely loved it! Thank you for participating in Talent-Sharing Tuesdays Link-Up 14.
