What If We Rewrite The Stars? 0ver 40 Fitness: Motivational Monday. Hello friends, happy Monday. A new week and new goals here for me. I was up early and ready to chase my dreams. How about you?
So the start of this year has not been good for me. My dad died in January, if you missed this, you can read more here: (Rest In Peace Dad, We Love You So Much…). Then by March, I was told my beautiful dog Mollie can not be saved from cancer and will die in the next few weeks or months. You can also read more here: (The Hardest Part Of Having A Dog Is; Knowing They Are Dying And There Is Nothing You Can Do To Help Them).
I have become a bit of a mess. I cry most day and keep feeling down and sorry for myself. Although I keep trying I have not got back into a regular fitness running routine, yet!! But fitness makes me feel so much better when I do something.
Last night I dreamt that I went to my mum’s house and my dad opened the door. Don’t you have some weird dreams when you lose something precious?
My mum had given me my dads money and I have so far treated us all to a spinning bike, to get fit!
I dreamt I was handing my dad the money back and giving him back the bike! ( if only it was that simple!!) So maybe it was a sign to start getting fit and use the bike?
What If We Rewrite The Stars? 0ver 40 Fitness: Motivational Monday:
So this morning I got up and did over 8 and a half miles on the spinning bike. I had a yummy smoothie for breakfast and planning on a few miles run this afternoon. Onwards and upwards, my friends.
I am now making fitness goals and looking forward to joining a running club soon and taking up more swimming.
What If We Rewrite The Stars?
You know I want you
It’s not a secret I try to hide
I know you want me
So don’t keep sayin’ our hands are tied
You claim it’s not in the cards
And fate is pullin’ you miles away
And out of reach from me
But you’re here in my heart
So who can stop me if I decide
That you’re my destiny?- The Greatest Showman | “Rewrite The Stars”
At night sometimes, when it is a clear nights sky. I go onto the garden and look towards the stars. I imagine that my dad is looking down on me until I see a sparkling light. Have you ever done this thinking about someone you have lost?

Oh yes, I did that when my beloved grandfather died 21 years ago. I even begged him to give me a sign. It just hurts like hell doesn’t it. There are no words to make that kind of pain any less painful. And I really hope you will have Mollie as long as possible with you. But if you start , you start good don’t you! I hope it will help you, being out in nature can really makes you feel better!
