A Visit Too Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem. Afternoon Drinks In Nottingham. Hello friends, Happy Thursday. So how are you today?
All good, I hope. Happy Thrifty Thursday, too. Not sure if we are going around the charity shops today as all our plans are upside down at the minute.
I have a beautiful dress that I am wearing in this post, from the charity shop but I will write another post about it in a few days, as today I am taking about a pub.
How amazing is this place? So much history here too. We love to visit whenever we go into Nottingham for drinks.
About. In existence since 1189, Ye Olde Trip is carved out of the rock directly under Nottingham Castle and famously served the crusaders on their way to Jerusalem.
Thanks so much to Emma from Style Splash who has featured me in her post today.

A Visit Too Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem. Afternoon Drinks In Nottingham.
Hasn’t the weather been miserable over the last few days? I think summer!!
It was nice last week, when my husband and I had an afternoon in Nottingham. A fun day with a visit to our favourite pubs, bars and Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem Inn.
Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem sits at the foot of Castle Rock. The ancient sandstone outcrop upon which Nottingham Castle is perched.
The inn’s location is no coincidence; it served as a stopping point for knights and crusaders journeying to the Holy Land, hence the name.
These is a few pubs I like to visit in Nottingham and no list of Nottingham pubs would be complete without mentioning Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem.
When we get a day out we like to walk up to the Nottingham Castle to take some photos. A visit to Nottingham wouldn’t be complete without stopping by this iconic establishment.
We was going to go this week but thought we would leave it a few more weeks to make it all the more fun.
