Desperately Seeking Alice In Wonderland.
Happy Thursday friends. How are you enjoy the weather? I am loving it but I get so tired when out and out.
On Monday my Husband and I caught a few trains to Birmingham for the day and I fell to sleep on the way home as I was so tired.

Desperately Seeking Susan Alice In Wonderland:
You may wonder what does Desperately Seeking Alice In Wonderland means?
Right?
Curiouser and curiouser?
Well let me tell you a little story;
Since Christmas, my Dad became really poorly. In the week of Father’s Day, he had an operation to save his life. Little did we know he was going to die and be brought back on the operating table.
When I went to see him he had a brand new, shiny guitar on the side of his sofa.
‘Look what I have treated myself too’ he said.
I joked ‘not another one’ and laughed.
Then I said, ‘I do not blame you, with everything you have been through’. ‘You should treat yourself’.
He then turned to me and said, ‘what would you treat yourself too if you could have something new’.
Without giving it a thought, I said ‘A pair of Alice In Wonderland; Irregular Choice shoes that I have been admiring for ages’.
Then he handed me some money and said ‘go and treat yourself!’
I was so excited and speechless!

So I have been looking everywhere for some gorgeous navy blue and white striped Alice in Wonderland, Irregular Choice Tick Tock shoes but I can not find them anywhere.
All of the shops on and offline have sold out. Typical, eh!?
I have been to Nottingham, Sheffield, and even travelled to the Irregular Choice shoes in Leicester and Birmingham but I can not find them anywhere.
Might they have sold out and stopped making them? It looks like I am too late.
I’m late! I’m late! For a very important date! No time to say “Hello”, goodbye! I’m late! I’m late! I’m late!
This is so me!

Anyway, on Monday my search for Alice took us on a day out in Birmingham for the day.
It was 2 hours, 2 train rides there and same coming back.
First up a few snaps of our day.

But first, let me take a selfie.

What a beautiful hot day.
Blue skies all around.

What a beautiful view.
Now where to start first!?

Let’s go shopping.

We walked for miles and miles, for hours and hours, and round and round to find the Irregular choice shop.
We Googled guide me to Irregular Choice but it kept sending up one way then another, saying we were there and then we had missed it.
We had something to eat as I was feeling like I was going to pass out with the heat and then was going to give up the search.
My Husband, on the other hand, will not give up until he finds what he is looking for.
Eventually, we found the shop. It was high up linking two shopping centres together, I think!?
No wonder we could not find it on the ground floor, it was above our heads all the time.

No such look though, I came home empty-handed.
The search for Alice is over and it does not look like I am going to find my shoes.
I gave up the chase and ordered some different ones as the search was wearing me out!
I will share some photos of my other ones tomorrow and give you a little clue about the ones I picked:
‘You’ve got a friend in me’
