Finding The Amy Winehouse Street Art In Camden.

I can’t believe that, last week we have had nearly a full week’s holiday off work and didn’t end up going far until Friday.

Also, I am still in summer mood but last week had been really chilly. I just didn’t want to go out anywhere as it was so cold.

On Friday we did have a fun day out in London. So it did make up for the rest of the week. The sun was out too, so double the fun.

We visited Kensington Palace, then up to Notting Hill, through Regent’s Park and up to Camden.

Every time we visit Camden we try to look for the Amy Winehouse street art. So yesterday we Googled where it was and found it.

I finally found one of the murals I had been trying to track down on our latest visit to Camden Town.

The mural is located around the side of the The Hawley Arms, 2 Castlehaven Road, an area strongly associated with Amy Winehouse.

It is tucked away to the side of the pub, making it surprisingly easy to walk past if you don’t know where to look.

Also, the pub itself is a famous spot where Amy was a regular.

I could not believe where it was, right near Camden Bridge where we walk ever time we visit. Just around the corner from a pub she used to visit and sing.

Also, I could not believe how big the street art was! It was huge and also amazing. So glad we eventually found it!

The mural is in the area around the Hawley Arms, a pub closely associated with Amy Winehouse and Camden’s music scene.

Rainbow Crossing In Camden London. I had a great day in London yesterday with my husband and daughter. The sun was shining and the streets were very busy.

Anyway, onto yesterday. I am loving the zebra crossing in Camden. it has been years since we last visited and was so pleased we went. Lots of amazing street art here too.
