Brr, it is so cold around here but I have had my front door open all week again for the builders so that might have made it colder? Snow is on and off the weather forecast so you never know!! {Do you have snow yet or is it on the forecast?}. I would love love snow on Christmas Day.

When you do not have to go out anywhere, all the presents have be brought and opened, you do not have to go to work and you can just lock yourself away with the family, good food and nice drinks.

Something I have always wish for since a child, each Christmas. I can remember it happening when I was little but not over the last few years!! Do you hope for snow on Christmas Day too? For me it makes Christmas that bit magical. Maybe you live somewhere that it always snows on Christmas day? Let me know if you do!!

Looking forward To Christmas:

I am so looking forward to Christmas this year. Hopefully my dinning room will be finished by then too as I have all my family around me for Christmas dinner.

The building work will be finished today and then it is rush, rush rush to get the floor finished and a new dinner table. Then I can breathe again. I can not wait to get my Christmas tree up too.

It is on hold at the minute as we are having a new sofa and the walls in my room need painting as the turquoise blue walls did not go with the red Settee!! Watch this space for updates!!

{Do you have your Christmas tree up?}. Let me know, so I can have tree envy!! I have got so much shopping to do now, to get ready for Christmas. Are you ready for Christmas? Are you having family over at Christmas or are you visiting family?

Anyway if you are feeling the cold like me here are a few yummy recipes that might just warm you up for a while:

Hi – I’m sorta new here. I’m returning to blogging with a revisit to The 12 Pearls of Christmas blog series I did several years ago on another blog I owned. Would love to have some visitors =D

I’m not usually one for hot drinks of any kind but if I had to choose it would be hot cocoa. (OK, in all honesty I love hot cocoa but only allow myself to drink it a couple of times each winter since it’s so calorie laden!). I like the look of snow.. if not the snow itself. And it looks like we might have a white Christmas this year if it keeps up the way it’s been going lately.
