The month of May is always beautiful. I know this as it is my birthday month!! I always remember it being beautiful but I don’t know what has gone wrong this year? The jumpers are back out and on!!

So cold outside so I decided to go for a run. No that didn’t work so I’ve put the heating back on!

As May rolls in, it’s surprising to see people pulling their jumpers back out of the wardrobe, including me!! But this year’s unseasonably cold weather is making them a necessity.

Instead of the usual mild spring breeze, we’re facing chilly winds and temperatures more fitting for winter than late spring.

The sudden drop in warmth has everyone bundling up, with layers and cosy sweaters making an unexpected comeback.

Whether it’s an early morning to work or a quick evening walk, it’s clear that despite the calendar saying May, the weather is having other ideas, reminding us that we can never truly predict the season!!

I adore this skirt but never really had anything that matches it for the top. I’m mixing Winter and Spring together to come up with this look.

So, I keep saving this skirt for Afternoon Tea but nowhere is open yet!

Also, I have to wear this jumper when my daughters at school as she really dislikes the colour! I was waiting for her to say something but she didn’t.

Maybe this colour suits me more with brown hair that it did with blonde?

So happy I picked this chunky knitted jumper up from Sainsbury’s a few weeks ago in their half-price sale. Warm And Cosy Outfit And Wait For Another Storm!!
