The Charm Of A Lemon Dress In London. Over 40 Style And A Creative Mondays Blog Hop. Hello friends, so how are you today?

Happy Monday lovelies. I hope you have all had a lovely weekend? I am so pleased you have stopped by to join us for this week’s Creative Mondays Link Up.

It has been all go here over the weekend for us. 5 years after my Son left home to go to University, he has moved back home with us again on Saturday.

Did you know today is also I Forgot Day? I am getting terrible at forgetting things lately. Then rushing around last minute to do whatever it was I forgot to do.

One thing I have not forgotten was that sick feeling when your child leaves home.

I remember that day well. We dropped my eldest off 5 years ago at Loughborough University and I was crying in the street. You can read my post here: What It Feels Like When Your Child Leaves Home.

It was a surprise when he said a few weeks ago, he was moving back home, but a nice one.

Today I am sharing my outfit what I wore last week to go to London.

Michelle Heaton, the 38-year-old singer and author of ‘Hot Flush – Motherhood the Menopause and Me’, shared her own menopause story and is urging women to start taking back control from when they get their first symptoms.

You can read why I went to London here: My Sunday Photo: Meeting Michelle Heaton.

The Charm Of A Lemon Dress In London:

The Charm Of A Lemon Dress In London. London, with its fun charm and timeless style, is a city that welcomes every shade of fashion. From classic trench coats to edgy streetwear, the streets of London have seen it all.

But there’s something uniquely refreshing about stepping out in a lemon dress amidst the city’s iconic backdrop. How beautiful does this dress pop out with the blue sky?

It is cheerful, bold, and an unexpected contrast to the generally quiet tones of the city. Here’s why dressing in a lemon dress for a trip to London is an experience as much as a fashion statement.

The weather in London is famously unpredictable; a beautiful morning can soon give way to a dreary afternoon.

Because of its vivid and cheery colour, a lemon dress can serve as a wearable sunlight.

The vivid yellow hues make you stand out in a sea of neutrals, whether you’re visiting Notting Hill, taking a stroll down by Tower Bridge, or having a picnic in Hyde Park.

Firstly, BerryWorld Strawberry, Fig and Rosewater Salad. Why not, serve this as a summer dessert on warm balmy evenings. It’s healthy, slightly unusual and very pretty. It also works well as a special breakfast fruit salad.

I think I will cry too when my son decides to leave home. Family is important and as a parent, having your kiddos fly away is the hardest. Speaking for myself, I know it will be for me. So glad he is going to be back home to give you some time to spend with him. Love this lemon dress you are wearing! The print is so fun and the dress suits you well. I hope your day is off to a great start and happy Monday!
