When Life Throws You Lemons, Wear Them!! Happy Monday friends. So how has your weekend been?

I’ve been really dizzy the last few days and really not feeling myself so it was lovely just chilling all weekend as it was my weekend off work.

I have had a nice few days away from posting on my blog too and have come back feeling more refreshed.

So When Life Throws You Lemons, Wear Them!!

Over the last few weeks, I have had my share of ups and downs!! So When Life Throws You Lemons, Wear Them!!

Well, it was going to be a good week last week. I had planned to start the week great and get fit again!

The sun was shining and I was feeling fit so popped my running clothes on and went for a run with Mollie The Border Collie.

Mollie is scared of other dogs so we took a shortcut through the woods. The next thing I know I was falling to the floor like a ton of bricks. OUCH!!!

My foot caught a branch when I was looking around for Mollie plus I’ve never been very good at falling!!

I fall like I have no idea what is happening!

A Big Ouch. Also, my knees and arm to the gravel well but my poor neck and back took a pounding. I stood up with bits of trees sticking out everywhere.

I then said to poor Mollie who was enjoying her run, come on Lou Lou (my little nickname for her and my favourite perfume) it’s time to go home.

Then I hobbled down the street feeling sorry for myself!!

I felt so achy all week then really dizzy towards the end of the week. But now I am fully recovered and ready to try again. Fingers crossed. I really hope you are all had a better week than me.

So today I am sharing a few photos from our walk around Newstead Abbey, in Nottinghamshire a few weeks ago.

It is beautiful here and the sun was shining so a double bonus. We love visiting when we can. It is so beautiful here.

Newstead Abbey was once an Augustinian priory in Nottinghamshire, England.

Following the Dissolution of the Monasteries, it was converted to a domestic residence and is today best known as Lord Byron’s ancestral home.

A Walk At Newstead Abbey. On a whimsical sunny afternoon at Newstead Abbey, the sun painted the sky in a soft cotton blue, casting a warm glow over the lush grounds.

Amidst the vibrant tapestry of blooming ancient trees, a figure emerged, twirling through the pathways in a delightful turquoise polka dot dress.

The dress, with its playful pattern reminiscent of a cheerful 50s pattern, seemed to dance in harmony with the gentle breeze.

As its wearer strolled, the dress swirled around her like a kaleidoscope of joy, creating an enchanting spectacle that turned heads and brought smiles to the faces of fellow wanderers.

Today I’m sharing some images from a few weeks ago that I had a lot of fun with.

It was a good time.

We had no need to stay at home when the weather was so pleasant. So a day out was called for.

Also, we drove out to the woods and then walked a couple of miles to Newstead Abbey. Such a beautiful day.

We didn’t want to park in Newstead because we knew it would be crowded, and it was!! Nothing worse than not getting a parking spot.

Everyone was looking forward to spending time with their families. As I was.

We had a lovely bank holiday weekend here, and it was red hot on Saturday. This was what I wore on a day out in Nottingham with my youngest two.

Love this dress which I picked up a few months ago. I have only just got around to wearing it.

Here I am getting my stripes on! This is what I wore on Friday, on my day off from work. Also, the Husband had a day off from work so I got an Instagram Husband for the day. It was great!!
