They say that after Groundhog Day Winter weather will persist for six more weeks. As that was last week I’m hoping it will only be 5 more weeks of Winter!?
One thing I love to do in Winter is staying warm. Today I have 16 ways to keep warm and stylish to share with you:
It has been so cold and windy over the last few weeks. I hate being cold. The wind and rain this year has been dreadful too. I just want to dig myself a hole and hibernate.
We have been lucky though. So many people have had their homes ruined by the floods. I cannot imagine how they have managed to cope with it all π
I am keeping myself warm with layers. Today I am sharing a few of my favourite ways to keep warm and stylish.
1.) Faux Fur Jackets:
These look very stylish, keep you warm and you could be wearing whatever you want under these, no one will notice. No suitable for the rain though!!
2.) Thick Warm Tights:
I like to wear my dress in Winter too. So nice thick and warm tights are needed.
3.) Cosy Leggings:
Whats not to love about warm and cosy, fleece lined legging!? Only thing is the shop sells out of them as soon as they get them in!
4.) Thin Layers:
A few lightweight t-shirts keep you warm without adding lots of bulk to your outfit.
4.) Wraps:
These are great for chucking around you and you can have a few jumpers on underneath them too. No one will ever notice!!
5.) A Gilet:
These keep you nice and warm without adding lots of bulk to your arms, that 2 jumpers would do.
6.) Long Sleeved T-shirts:
I love my long sleeved t-shirts in Winter.
7.) Thermal Under T-shirts:
Great for when you want to wear a short dress or skirt. Keeps your body nice and warm.
8.) Bobble Hats:
If your heads nice and warm, the rest of your body will keep warmer longer. If you do not like wearing them, pop some red lipstick on to give you a little more confidence.
9.) Blanket Scarfs:
Wrapped around you. They are so cosy.
10.) Scarfs:
It is amazing how something lightweight wrapped around your neck can warm you up.
11.) Leggings Under Dresses:
So warm and cosy. What is not to love?
12.) Medium To Long Boots:
Keep your calf’s nice and warm. I love wearing mine with bright coloured tights!! Mustard ones being my all time favourites.
13.) Short Boots:
Great with tights and little ankle socks tucked inside for extra warmth.
14.) Layers:
Long sleeve t-shirts with a nice chunky warm jumper over the top.
15.) Boot Socks:
Perfect underneath your ripped jeans. These ripped jeans can get so draughty in the wind.
16.) Ponchos:
Great for layering the t-shirts or jumpers underneath.
How are you keeping warm and cosy in the Winter months?

I'm always cold….. During the winter I wear 2 or 3 layers of clothes and still feel the cold. This winter I wear tunics as the first layer cause I cannot stand it having cold at the back…. Greetings from Italy! Carmen
Thanks Carmen, I hate being cold too π

Those polka dot shoes are so cute. And I can not wait for spring to come layering is fun, but I want to be able to just throw on some flip flops when I run out of the house.
Thanks Heidi, love polka dots here π
I agree with the boots and scarves recommendations in particular – I always wear them in winter π And of course I have a few fleece lined tights and leggings to keep me cosy while I wear dresses or skirts!Away From The Blue Blog
