Banksy Paintings.
Hello friends, happy Wednesday. Thanks so much for joining us today for The Wordless or not so Wordless Wednesday Link Up!
What photos have you been taking this week?
Do you want to share with us?
Banksy has been all over the news over the last few days after his amazing Girl With Balloon painting self-destructed during an auction last week.
Did you see the video?
Oh wow, imagine paying all that money and that happening.
My heart would have been racing!!
I can imagine how shocked people were to see it happening and not know what was going on.
I would have loved to have been there!!

When we visited Bristol a few weeks ago we went looking for some Banksy paintings on the walls.
We weren’t quite sure of which were his but knew for sure these ones were.

We found this Well Hung Lover, also called the Naked Man Hanging From Window and simply Naked Man, and The Mild Mild West.
Imagine even trying to get up there to paint them!!
Last time I went up a ladder I was 16 years old and fell off it and sprained my ankle!

I can not believe how many times we have been to London and I’ve never seen the Balloon Girl one though!
I will be Googling it next time we go so I am sure not to miss it.

I absolutely loved the Banksy story, although if I had just paid $1.4M for it, I probably would have been quite ticked off! Love seeing his work in the wild, too!

Big fan of Banksy. Was amused by what happened this week. He’s a clever chap. He knows how to court publicity.
I forgot to go and see the Banksy in Hull when I was there in the summer. Next time…
