Floaty Maxi Dress And Diamante Sandals. What I Wore. Hello friends. Happy Creative Monday lovelies. So, I hope you have all had a lovely weekend?
We have been busy rushing around all weekend and today I am ready to just chill.
I do not like to say this but the weather is really wearing me out. I am so tired and keep getting sunstroke with awful migraines!
We could also do with some rain now to water what is left of the grass too. All our lovely green grass is now clumps of burnout yellow grass.
Floaty Maxi Dress And Diamante Sandals:
Floaty Maxi Dress And Diamante Sandals. On Saturday my Daughter and I went out shopping for the morning in Nottingham to spend some of her Birthday mornings.
We wanted to get out nice and early to beat the football crowds.
My Daughter took a few photos of my outfit down by the canal. Here are a few more photos near Nottingham canal.
Floaty Maxi Dress And Diamante Sandals.
One of my favourite spots in Nottingham.
So lovely here.
Floaty Maxi Dress And Diamante Sandals. A canal selfie! Because I can. Haha!!
In the realm of fashion fairy tales, our editor decided to tackle the concrete catwalk wearing a floaty maxi dress that was more floaty than a cloud on vacation.
This dress, with its ability to catch the wind and twirl like a tornado of tulle, made her feel like the queen of whimsy.
But what’s a queen without her royal footwear?
Enter the diamante sandals, bedazzled with enough sparkle to make Cinderella jealous and enough bling to double as a makeshift disco ball.
Can I wear flat sandals with maxi dress? Yes you can, they make a great outfit commination.
Floaty Maxi Dress And Diamante Sandals. As our fashionista strolled through the Nottingham city streets, her floaty maxi dress transformed into a makeshift parachute, threatening to launch her into the stratosphere with each gust of wind.
The diamante sandals, determined to shine brighter than the city lights, clicked and clacked with every step, providing a musical soundtrack to her unintentional floatation device fashion show.
Passersby couldn’t decide whether they were witnessing a fashion faux pas or a fabulous floaty phenomenon.
Day Out In Nottingham:
Floaty Maxi Dress And Diamante Sandals. Our fearless trendsetter, caught in the crosswind of style and unexpected aerodynamics, twirled, giggled, and floated away into the fashion sunset, leaving a trail of bewildered onlookers and perplexed pigeons in her wake.
And so, the floaty maxi dress and diamante sandals wrote a chapter in the book of fashion history, proving that sometimes, the runway is wherever the wind takes you, even if it’s just to the nearest street corner.
The end… or should we say, the beginning of a high-flying fashion saga!
The water was so nice and peaceful and so was the pubs this early. I bet they were packed a few hours later on such a nice day.
So I wore a nice floaty maxi dress and some fake diamante sandals.
Only one problem with these sandals! I can not run in them.
On the way to the train station we were running late and as I could not run in these, we just missed the train by a matter of seconds and had to wait 30 minutes for the next one.
Oh well, such a nice day, the time flew by.
My Daughter and I shoe selfie time.

Since Christmas, my Dad became really poorly. In the week of Father’s Day, he had an operation to save his life. Little did we know he was going to die and be brought back on the operating table.
When I went to see him he had a brand new, shiny guitar on the side of his sofa.
‘Look what I have treated myself too’ he said. Desperately Seeking Alice In Wonderland. So many fun memories.

Claire, your dress is beautiful! And such gorgeous shots by the water. The perfect backdrop for sunny summer pictures! I hear you about the heat though…it has been so hot and humid here as well that I cannot even tolerate being outdoors. I am already ready for Fall!
Shelbee

Aww, thanks Shelbee. We have had a couple of cooler days now but it has started to get hot again.
Floaty dresses are a must in this weather! We have that fake grass in our garden (it was there when we moved in, I’m not sure it’s something I’d have gone for myself) It does look very green though! And no mowing is nice! In this hot weather it does get hot to walk on though which seems weird, proper lawn never really gets hot does it?
Author
I like the idea of fake grass Julie. My lawn is so patch as it is, now yellow patches.
Maxi dresses are the best because not only are they pretty but it’s one and done! I am sorry you had missed the train within mere seconds but your sandals are pretty look if that’s any consolation!! The things we do for fashion right?! I am so glad you and your daughter had a great weekend shopping and spending time together. No other better way to spend a weekend if you ask me. Happy Monday!
