Consider the length while choosing a maxi dress. Choose a dress that reaches your mid-calf or just above your ankle. This length avoids overpowering your frame and is more appealing to the eye.

Avoid wearing dresses that are too long and might drag on the ground since they might make you look messy.

Also, you do not want to trip up either. Like I do sometimes in some of mine!!

Today is Thrifty Thursday and after getting soaking wet on my walk to the hairdressers, I did manage to cheer myself up when I found some bargains at the charity shop.

Amongst today’s bargains, I found some denim combats, just like some I was going to buy from the shop last week, for just 50p.

Eek, they are in the washing machine now as I type, so hopefully I can style them over the weekend.

Also a beautiful polka dot dress and short jumpsuit for £1.00 each. So made up with my bargains.

Taking off polka dot dresses, check out this amazing one I got from the charity shop for £3.50 a few weeks ago!! Styling My White Dr. Martens Boots With A Maxi Dress.

After a moment of deliberation, I settled on this amazing dress. Its vibrant pattern echoes the youthful spirit of my trainers.

With a swift transition from loungewear to glamour, I slipped into my chosen attire, feeling a surge of fun as each fabric embraced my skin. Cotton, I just love a cotton dress. So good.

Pink lipstick suits you. I like the combination of a green purse and white sneakers. Your hairstyle is simple and classy. You look stylish with sunglasses. You have a great fashion sense.

I love all of those dresses and accessories! I always wear wedges with maxi dresses. It's starting to get cooler here and I still want to wear my maxi dresses so I need to find some cardies and boots that look okay with them!
