When it comes to buying perfume I am also a little old fashioned. Whenever I have perfume as a gift off my Hubby or family I always say I want the same brand.

I have stuck with Cacharel’s Lou Lou for over 25 years. I still love it after all this time and always will. But I am open to try new perfumes. It is just like a new friend. I have to get to know it first. Whether it is by smell or recommendation.

When it comes to picking a different bottle of perfume it is hard to choose. Do you go for a bottle which stands out more than the others?

One that has been inspired by someone famous, just because you like them? Or keep smelling the testers until they all blend in to one in the same. Or smell what others are wearing and then just guess?

As I say I end up with the same one as I cannot decide.

Daisy By Marc Jacobs:

Last week Fragrance Direct emailed me about some research about the top selling perfume in Nottingham. They found that Daisy by Marc Jacobs is the most popular fragrance in the City.

I must admit I have had my eye on this perfume for a while now, dropping hints at Christmas that my husband failed to pick up on.

If I could have picked any bottle of perfume to review it would have been Daisy. So I was very excited to get the chance to test it out.

Once my perfume arrived, I tried it out straight away. My eldest son said, “what perfume you wearing mum? that smells nice”!! So I replied “I do, don’t I”!?! then told him!

Not only is the design amazing, the daisy on the top is adorable, it smell great too. A sweet and refreshing floral smell pops straight to mind. A lovely fragrance that reminds me of warm summer nights out.

How sweet is this bottle!?!

It catches my eye, every time I walk by it. I have now placed it on my dressing table in my bedroom. I spraying a little every day to smell lovely. It is going to be one of my go to perfumes and one I replace when the bottle is empty. Again like a friend. The good ones we hold on to.
