Nottingham Christmas Market Over The Years. Hello friends. Happy Friday. So how are you?

Today I am sharing some photo’s from the Christmas Market in Nottingham over the years as nothing much is happening around here at the minute.

A Flashback Friday style post.

Don’t you just love a traditional Christmas market? Over the years, Nottingham’s Christmas Market has evolved into a festive extravaganza, captivating locals and visitors alike with its enchanting charm and diverse offerings.

Nottingham Christmas Market Over The Years

Nottingham Christmas Market Over The Years:

Nottingham Christmas Market Over The Years. This year has been strange for everyone. Although I have not missed shopping, I have missed travelling.

Each year my daughter and I love to visit Nottingham quite a lot and our favourite time to visit is Christmas.

The market, steeped in tradition, has grown from humble beginnings into a winter wonderland that transforms the city center into a magical destination during the holiday season.

Nestled within the heart of Nottingham, on Market Square, the market showcases a delightful array of stalls adorned with twinkling lights, offering an assortment of handcrafted gifts, seasonal treats, and festive decorations.

As the years have passed, the market has expanded its horizons, featuring not only local artisans but also international vendors, creating a melting pot of cultures and traditions. Families gather to enjoy the lively atmosphere, with the scent of mulled wine and ice skating filling the air with lots of fun and laughter.

The Nottingham Christmas Market has become a cherished annual tradition, weaving together the threads of community, commerce, and Christmas spirit, making it a cherished part of the city’s rich tapestry.

We used to love looking around the Christmas market. This year we have not been to Nottingham shopping, once.

Hopefully, thing’s will start to get back to normal once the vaccines start rolling out and we will be able to visit next year.

I heard they did open Nottingham Christmas Market this year but got shut down because lots of people flooded there. Covid has a lot to answer for!!
