On Monday, we had the most magical afternoon tea, way up high above London. 32 floors to be precise, at the Peter Pan Afternoon Tea at The Shard!
Honestly, it felt like stepping straight into Neverland itself.
Think twinkling city views, right next to the window, tiny golden pastries, and just enough pixie dust to make your heart flutter.

Don’t even get me started on the sweet delights!
They are delivered on an imitated pirate ship, and a waitress poured some liquid into the heart of the ship to ignite the dry ice, creating a billowing, theatrical “smoky fog” impression at your table.
That was magical.
Dreams do come true, if only we wish hard enough.
The Shards Words:
Our Peter Pan experience transforms this British tradition into something special – complete with a tea stand shaped like Captain Hook’s ship.
Expect The Unexpected:
Finger sandwiches come with Lost Boy Rules, mushroom-shaped bread nods to Neverland, and warm scones hide in their own treasure chest.
Think of the happiest things.
It’s the same as having wings!
From the moment you sit down, you’re whisked away into a world of imagination.
The tables sparkle next to the window, with a view over London.
Every tiny details made it special.
Come on, everybody! Here we go, off to Never Land!
From the London sandwich platter, Peter Pan plates, the ship cake stand, to the treasure chests full of special teats.
All I could think was, second star to the right and straight on till morning.
Of course, being at The Shard, the views are breathtaking.
We went in the day, so you could see for miles. The trains below us felt like toy trains.
I can imagine at night, London sparkles below you like fairy lights scattered across the night sky. I bet you would half expect Peter himself to swoop past the window!
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie dust.

As you sip your tea, you can’t help but hum “You can fly, you can fly, you can fly!”
What I love most is how whimsical yet grown-up it all feels.
Perfect for families, date days like we did, because self-care can totally involve cake and Neverland.
Little touches, from the Tinker Bell cookie t to the pirate ship serving trays make it so much more than just afternoon tea. It’s an experience I never want to forget.
Don’t Forget To Take A Picture Or 100!!! Like I did.
Every corner is Instagram heaven, from the sandwiches to the cakes, and not forgetting the city stretching out forever.
I may have gone a bit snap-happy. Sorry, not sorry!!
