Seaside Style And Go To Sliders: #WelcomeToTheWeekendLinkUp. Happy Friday lovelies.
Welcome To The Weekend Link Up. Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have fun at this week’s blog hop.
Hope you have had a lovely week?
How Our Week Went:
We have been rushing around getting ready for back to school this week. The children still have another week and a bit left off school but I need to start getting ready. It is costing me a fortune as they get older too.
Everything has to be better quality and hard wearing as they get taller.
Gone are the days when you could just nip into your local supermarket and buy school uniform and shoes at great prices.
Now into adult sizes for everything. Still children but having to pay full VAT!!
My Daughters school trousers cost me £20 because school uniform does not take into account that 13-year-olds can be taller than their mum’s or just about. Also, my youngest Son has bigger feet than his Dad!! Size 10.
Still lots of things to buy too but I will save that for another day.
Are you all ready for the weekend?
We are hoping for another trip to the seaside over the Bank holiday weekend.
The Summer holidays are going so fast.
Here is me in my beach clothes a few weeks ago on holiday in Butlins in Skegness. I actually brought this dress a few years ago to save for a holiday abroad (which we have not got around to yet) but the weather was so nice when we went away, I took it with us.
Butlins Original Chalet:
Standing outside one of the original Butlins chalets from back in the day.
How cool!? It still looks in great condition. Not much room inside though.
Sliders Yea Or Nay?
So all the family have sliders for the last few years and I had not really been a fan. I treated myself to a pair this year and they are so comfy. They are great for trips to the beach and I am loving wearing them to go to the swimming baths at home. Saves spending ages trying to get your socks and trainers on after swimming.
