Spooky Photoshoot In The Woods 31 Days Of October. Hello friends, happy Wednesday. I am up and out early to work so I thought I would quickly share some fun here today of what my daughter and I got up to yesterday evening.

My daughter is studying photography at college and needed some photos. Always happy to help out! So today I am continuing some Halloween-themed posts with a photoshoot from yesterday with my daughter in the woods. Just as it was about to get dark.

But the scariest thing wasn’t being in the woods alone, it was me!! Ha!! If you went down to the woods last night, you were sure of a big surprise!! (Linking up with Gail for Wow On Wednesday and Emma for Style With a Smile).

Spooky Photoshoot In The Woods 31 Days Of October:
We had a fun time with lots of laughter. It was getting dark so we were both taking it in turn for falling over branches as it was getting hard to see. I nearly got hit in the head a few times with fallen branches and pinecones as it was really windy and raining.

My daughter took lots of photos but she is still trying to work out the setting on the camera so quite a few were blurry. A few dog walkers walked by us and never even noticed us, well I don’t think they did.
The most embarrassing thing was walking out the woods like this when cars were going by. Awkward!! All good fun.

Spooky Photoshoot In The Woods What I Wore:
Dress: H&M || Headband: Poundland || Roses: Poundland || Wig: Amazon {borrowed from my daughter} || Boots: Primark
The last time we did a Halloween shoot in the woods my kids were small and it didn’t end well!! It was in fact, 10 years ago in October 2011. We planned all week that we would go into the woods after school and do some scary photos. Little did we know we were going to be scared ourselves!!
We always used to go out trick or treating of course only go to people’s houses that have been decorated in readiness for Halloween visitors. You can read about our never ever forgetting moment here:

Thanks Michele 🙂 So much fun
Sounds like fun! Evening/night pictures are so difficult. Some of the kids at my son’s high school are learning which settings to use and it was really cool to see how nice the homecoming pictures turned out!
