The 5 Gold Rings Snowman: A Whimsical Winter Wonderland

The 5 Gold Rings Snowman: A Whimsical Winter Wonderland at Clumber Park. Hello friends, so how are you today? Happy Tuesday.

On Sunday we took a visit to Clumber Park to see the trail of twelve giant Snowman sculptures.

I am also such a fan of The Snowman that my husband surprised me with an official The Snowman scarf last Christmas. These scarfs were also on the trails and I felt as thought I belonged here. Matching scarfs with the event.

On the fifth day of Christmas, my true love sent to me. Five golden rings. Four calling birds. Three French hens. Two turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree.

Snowman Hunt Alert! Today I am sharing some photos taken with The 5 Gold Rings Snowman. One of the 12 snowmen and a delightful nod to the Twelve Days of Christmas.

This winter, twelve giant snowman sculptures have taken over Clumber Park, and on Sunday was the time to find them all!

These frosty friends are big, bold, and bring a whole lot of holiday cheer. Each snowman is uniquely designed.

Think of The 12 days of Christmas!! I tried to snap a pic with each one but guess what? When we got home we were one short!! Grrr!!! We were so close. We might have to go again now!!

The Snowmen sculptors are scatter around the lake and is a great day out for families, nature lovers, and holiday enthusiasts.

If you want to see them all, there is lots of walking involved, as over 3 miles around the lake. But such a lovely walk you do not realise it is that far. Just remember to make sure you wear comfortable shoes.

The Story Behind The Snowman:

The Snowman is a wordless children’s picture book by British author Raymond Briggs, first published in 1978 by Hamish Hamilton in the United Kingdom.

I remember it coming out as a short film all the way back to 26 December 1982 and loved it. The Snowman was always a magical part of Christmas for me growing up.

My dad was a huge fan and watched it every Christmas Eve, up until he died.

That is so neat! I love snowmen and I loved that book. I didn’t know about it until I was in college and working at a day care center. That book (and an adorable plush that matched) was an absolute favorite of one of the girls and I fell in love with it too.
