Maybe because it is still keeps going warm and then cool around here and they keep you warm when it’s not that sunny as they cover your legs. If you know what I mean?

Today I wanted to share a little style inspiration for those of us over 50 who still love to wear flowery dresses, feel chic and comfy, especially when the sun decides to play peekaboo.
So let’s talk about something you might not expect to wear in July: a long sleeved dress.
But not just any dress, this beautiful Joules number that’s made for sunny strolls, coffee dates, and garden party twirls.
Now, you all know how much I adore Joules, their dresses always manage to feel classic but never boring, don’t they? This one caught my eye instantly.
Dreamy florals with a touch of whimsy.
And that fit? Oh-so-flattering on a curvier figure (especially if you’re like me and want something that moves with you, not against you).

We took these photos on a little garden walk, how dreamy is that setting?
Perfectly trimmed hedges, towering trees, and a whimsical white birdcage just calling for a photo op! It felt like stepping into a storybook for a moment.

Fourthly, Styling A Maxi Dress Tip.
brought this dress a few weeks ago for my holiday. When I seen it in the shop I loved it straight away. It screamed buy me! When I got it home and tried it on, I hated it!
Far to wide, too baggy around the top. So it was take it back to the shops and not have a new dress for my holidays or pack it in the case.
Then a though came into my head. What about wearing a black top underneath and finding a chunky belt to wear with it!?
I tipped my t-shirt draw upside down and emptied my wardrobe to find a belt.
I am so glad I did as it looked a lot better.
So my tip of the day for styling a maxi dress: Add a belt!
