Weekend Thoughts And A New Pair Of Walking Boots. Happy Saturday, friends.
I’m off work now for the weekend after a very busy week. I was worn out last night and slept in until after 9 am which was lovely.
Weekend Thoughts And A New Pair Of Walking Boots:
I have had such a stressful few weeks. It has been a few days since I last posted here as more bad news this week.
Last week I found out that after a month of being really ill my eldest son has diabetes type 1. You can read more here: Visit To The Pumpkin Farm And Some Recipes To Try.
Then this week I find more upsetting news about my little dog, Mollie.
Love my little fur baby to pieces. After a few crap months, I find out today she has not 1 but 2 tumours.
Hoping she makes a full and speedy recovery next week after her operation and it is nothing more ( check out our little reel here: Mollie In Gedling).
So poor Mollie The Collie got told she has 2 tumours earlier this week and then when I told my husband he had a look and we found a third lump under her front leg .
So sad. Look how healthy and happy she looks too. Bless her. She is only 5 years old so I’m hoping the operation goes well next week .
Tip of the day, if I know you and you see me around don’t ask how Mollie is or I will burst into tears!!.
In other news, I really need to start getting fit again as I sat down on the floor yesterday to do my end of year books and could not get up!! No fun getting older!!
Weekend Thoughts And A New Pair Of Walking Boots:
Loving my new vegan-friendly boots I brought from Tu Clothing at Sainsbury’s a few weeks ago. A nice walk out with Mollie to bed them in!
Trying to say the glass is half full instead of half empty.. but it’s so hard to say lately.
Have a lovely weekend.

On Repeat Patent Boots. Firstly, I still love these patient boots which I got from Sainsbury’s years ago. They are great for chucking on to go shopping. After years, they still look great and the perfect heel for going out and wanting to look smart but not too dressed up.

Thirdly, time to share some fun photos. My husband is off work this week. So today we had a drive out to Sherwood Forest, in Nottinghamshire. Mollie was running around like a kid in a sweet shop. Mollies Lion King Moment!! Mollie On Snake Rock?
A Walk Up Kinder Scout With Mollie The Border Collie:
Last but not least, Kinder Scout part of the moor and it is 636 metres above sea level. It is also the highest point in the Peak District. The highest point in Derbyshire, and the highest point in the East Midlands. A walk to the top was now called for!! A Walk Up Kinder Scout With Mollie The Border Collie.
