Thankfully the wind has stopped and it is a lot warmer this week.
It was awful last week.
Dustbins everywhere and I lost count how many times my coat whipped me in the face.
At least I kept my hand on the dustbin lid this time as one year the lid flew up and busted my lip.
Ouch the wind can really hurt.
We always take Mollie to the park everyday but because it is a big open space the wind is extra strong up there. So my Husband suggested we have a ride up to the big woods.
I laughed at first as I thought it was going to be even more windy in the woods but it turns out the trees were so tall that it blocked out the wind and it was lovely and calm.
Apart from when some poor little dog must have got his leg caught or injured and you could hear it yelping in pain, somewhere in the woods.
We all wrapped up warm and had a few lovely afternoons in the woods last week. Nothing beats getting out and about in the fresh air and stroll through the woods on a nice sunny day with the family is just perfect.

We’ve had some wind but thankfully not too much; we often have trees shredding limbs that it’s not safe to walk in our woods when it’s windy. Looks like a lovely place to walk!

I am so ready for a nature walk, but still waiting for the weather to warm up enough around here! We have snow forecasted this weekend so still too cold for extended periods of time outside.
